Omnibus Religious Fucks in the NEWS

Here’s a non-Christian, Non-American example it appears. The four priests at a Thai temple all tested positive for meth, which seems pretty crazy, especially when the locals were giving the priests gifts/offerings to earn merits in their religion. Though with how cheap the meth in Thailand can be, perhaps the drugs were offerings.

Seriously, what the fuck???

“he allegedly had 20 wives, most under the age of 15.”

No, he had 20 children who he had kidnapped and was raping.

I’m not religious in any sense except I religiously drink way too much Coca Cola every day. However, that is not a religion, that is a scam to get his disgusting paws on children, and mask his perversion.

Police believe that three of Bateman’s older wives drove the eight girls to an Airbnb in Spokane where police intercepted them.

That sounds about right.

I do wish the reports would not call them “wives”. They are underage rape victims.

I think the label “wives” is important in this case though, because it indicates the complicity of the community in legitimizing this abuse. These child rape victims were given an official status and title that authorized the abuser to rape them, which IMHO brings about 95% of the horrific in this situation.

Agreed. A kidnapping rapist usually acts alone or with a partner. This is a whole group of people responsible for this atrocity.

And they should use the word “wives” in quotes.

And any father that would allow his wife and daughters to be raped should sterilized for the greater good.

I think “child brides” works better.

“Victims”.

Yeah, “child brides” is ambiguous since it is frequently used to refer to underage girls married or betrothed to husbands—who may be adult men or underage boys—in certain traditions of arranged (legal) marriage.

To complicate the situation further, child couples betrothed before they reach local legal marriage age often don’t live together or consummate their union until they’re legal.

So “child brides” is unsatisfactory as a term denoting specifically “underage girls sexually abused and raped by a man illegally (but with community acceptance and support) claiming them as his ‘wives’ in a polygynous marriage”.

It’s a disgrace that our society has a need for such a term in the first place, but given that it does, “child brides” doesn’t quite cut it.

Underage cult rape slave.

I’m sure, in some way, he did it for Jesus.

God told them he wanted them to have a luxury home near Disney world and who are they to defy God’s will.

Quintessential Florida Man does Florida things outside his state.

Racist Florida man loss his job over it, and hilariously comes across as a douche when interviewed later on.

^ Wrong thread - meant the stupid MFers in the news thread.
