One type of cookie for the rest of your life

Nabisco ginger snaps.

I believe Subway’s cookies are Otis Spunkmeyer. They make dough already shaped and ready to bake. The cookies are wonderful. The place I used to work used those and that explains the 20 pounds I gained at that job.

Oh, and chocolate chip cookies are the ones I’d take for the rest of my life, but I would pine for oreos.

Never even heard of (or saw) them! :frowning: They would have solved my dilemma, for sure.

Some of the other answers are making me doubt my Oreos choice. My wife just had me bring her some White Chocolate Macadamia cookies from Kroger, and she says they’re the best cookies she ever had. Since they’re made in their bakery they are hard to replicate elsewhere, but they’re special for sure.

I wonder if we can count those Rice Krispies Treats that Mama used to make. If so, change my vote!

Rice Krispie Treats are to cookies as hot dogs are to sandwiches

Got to be in the same ballpark anyway!

Whoop, there it is.
mmm

Either really good Tollhouse chocolate chip cookies (no nuts), or Mallomars (which I can’t get around here, and that makes me sad)

I like to make chocolate chip cookies that have lots of extra stuff in it like oatmeal and peanut butter. Maybe walnuts. If I only get one kind for the rest of my life I may have to test adding molasses, ginger and/or toasted coconut and see what works. I’ve never done caramel but it is definitely on the list.

No way, infidel. Peanut-shaped ones.

A genetic fusion of my two favorites, fresh from the oven;

Toll house chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin, basically an oatmeal rasin with chocolate chips added

Entenmann’s Chocolate chip.

You will be burned on a bed of them. It will smell marvelous.

Do you have “cookie butter” down there? They’re ground into a spreadable paste (I presume not shaped either, because that sounds pointless). A little cloying and not sure what I’d do with it, but some people love it.

If the world devolves into such a state that I am limited to only one type of cookie, forever, then I will build a Death Star and destroy that world, for it has clearly become unsuitable for human occupation.

And take out all the cookies? YOU MONSTER!

As mentioned earlier, Subway and McDonald’s chocolate chip cookies are pretty good. The frozen Nestle Tollhouse cookies (bake them yourself) are good too, the Hershey ones not quite so much. It’s been awhile since I’ve had the chance to try a Mrs. Fields cookie from a store, but I remember them as being too large and to raw in the middle.

Anyway… yes chocolate chip cookies. Forget what I said above - the best ones are the ones you make from the back of the Nestle bag.

^ You mean the ones from

This was my first runner-up in case the butter pecan turtle cookie could not fulfill its duties. I went with the BPTC for sentimental reasons.

No one has yet listed Mallomars?
