OP Ideas for the MMP

Up, sneezing and feeling like crap today. Urgh.

My brain is non functioning today it is to full of snot.

I am a stickler for cleanliness in the car so you will never find anything under my car seats. Go on look I dare ya!

Topics for future MMP’s…hmmm

How sharp does a pointy stick really have to be?
Red Lobster vs Olive Garden - Compare and contrast…

And now I am off in search of tissues…

Better yet - what cuisine can the Dardens ruin next?

And by coincidence, Wang Chung is playing on the radio.

I was thinking of him the other day and how we need an umbrella stand to contain staffs and swords and other things to chase away Kirby salespeople.

Annie, I’m so sorry that you guys are going through this … :frowning:

We’ll make it: I have faith. All you guys keep me laughing. That means so much right now.

And the weirdest thing under the passenger seat: two handbell gloves. I would say a pair of handbell gloves, but they were both for the left hand.

Hey, FlashyKitty! Howyadoin’?

(Spaz. I think of Spaz, I think of a strobe light. Therefore, FlashyKitty.)

Agreed. Today started out so promising. And it’s beautiful out. And it sucks big time. A little of :frowning: and a little of  And a loooooooot of waiting time. Again. The server cannot handle the number of users. And today was flu shot day so my arm’s sore. Blurgh.

In a similar vein, what would you do if you won various levels of the lottery? $5000? $50,000? $250,000? Multi-millions? KT and I have different plans for the different levels already. But I want to know what other people would do.

{{{Annie}}} continued good thoughts and prayers for hubby.

Dindin is smellin’ good! The roast is makin’ me hongry! I made a nice green sallit and we’ll have lima beans, rice and bizkits too. Plus the deviled aigs I made. NUM!

Tonight I have Vestry meetin’ at the church house. Yet more discussion of budget and it’s pledge time! WOOHOO!!!

Hugs to the Onimous family. Glad the follow-up visit is coming up pretty soon.

Nestle’s chocolate in Europe might be OK, Nava, but I think it’s the worst widely-sold brand in the States. I can eat Hershey’s, but Nestle’s? Ick.

Sorry you’re wanting to opt out of today, Nava and taxi. I went in to work for about 4 hours and got about 1/2 of my presentation done. Yay! Also made a point of going to lunch at one of the places I’d been meaning to eat at for a while. It was yummy. And took a long walk both to and from work, so I got my exercise in.

Love your non-topic topic, FCM. In my continuing quest to keep the MMP disorganized, I’ve collected topics in a spreadsheet. There’s a link in my signature. If you have topics you want me to add, PM me or post it during the current MMP and I’ll copy and paste it. I’ve combined suggestions when people have added to other people’s topics.

My additional topics:

Tell me your favorite elementary school lunch (cafeteria or brown bag)…
Did you ever actually have to write a “what I did on my summer vacation” essay in school? What did you write about?
Adding to swampy’s chocolate topic: or tell me about your favorite chocolate and when you first met it.

Need to clean up a bit and make zucchini/carrot bread. But first, I’ll do something fun. Knit? Read? Watch a movie? Play a game? I’m sure there are more options.

Back later.

And it’s gotten worse. I got a flu shot, and now my arm is sore.

And… I’ve complained here about a person in a team that I work with at work who doesn’t focus on the work during the day so ends up staying late and causing my team to have to work late when we work with her. Well, I found out from a work friend who’s on her team that she was asking Work Friend why I’ve been so adamant lately about leaving on time. ::sigh:: I never leave if the ball’s in my court. I always finish my tasks and leave it at a place where I’m waiting for an update from her. I’m not going to sit on my ass here when I could go home and make dinner or go for a bike ride or whatever and then log back on and work later. I get my work done. What difference does it make if it’s here or there? It’s not my problem that their team’s management won’t let them work from home. Mine won’t either during business hours, but they will for off-hours work. So I take advantage of that. And I get my work done. But I’m not going to sit here waiting for her. And yes, I have been more adamant about leaving lately but just because the days are getting shorter so if I want to get outside at all in the beautiful weather we’ve been having, I need to get out right after work. I shouldn’t worry about what someone else thinks. But this is someone that I have to work with regularly so I don’t want her not to like me. Even if I’m frustrated with her behavior sometimes. :stuck_out_tongue:

Understandable - but she needs to grow up and understand that she should get her damn work done on time!!!

**gt *- you are soooooo organized, it frightens me. Tell me - are your gardens arranged in alphabetical order or some other logical way? Do you sort your spices according to country of origin? Is the stuff under your car seat neatly categorized? * <snerk>

Waiting for my fambly to get home with de-nutted Cozmo. He’ll probably be wearing a cone of shame. These next few days should be interesting. Poor lil guy.

I got the back and side windows washed, but ran out of time doing the front. I may get the bow window tonight, tho. Fourth load is in the machine, third in the dryer. Supper is about done - chickie teriyaki, rice, mushrooms-n-onions, and italian green beans. Yum.

Back to the kitchen with me. Except for {{{{Annie}}}} Be strong, girl!

Not only is Cozmo not wearing the cone of shame - he’s acting like nothing happened! Except he’s starving, apparently. Supper was not enough for him.

Supper was good. Dishes are done. I need to fold laundry. And I guess I’ll just log off and assume the knit position. Thus endeth my 3-day weekend. rah.

I watched Iron Man & Iron Man 2 back to back. The first one was way better. But I have a question. One of the things that made me want to see IM2 was the promo where Gweneth says “Go get 'em, Boss” or something to that effect, and jumps off the roof backwards shouting “You complete me!” as he flies off. Now if the producers know a scene has ended up on the floor of the editing lab, and one would assume that they do know, why the hell do thy leave it in the promo/preview???!?!?!!?

Waaaaaay long Vestry meetin’ tonight. A lot got accomplished but waaaaaay long! That’s why they pay me the big bucks right?

I know I’ve mentioned that St. Pat’s is sponsorin’ a mission trip to the Dominican Republic the last week of October. We have raised 5k to do this. That’s a buncha money for a little church like us. The group will be helpin’ a church in a small town to build a church and school. I think this is so !

Ok, time for nitey nite for da bear.

{{{ annie and family }}}

Still sick and sniffly and sore throaty and stuff. Why yes I am being a big baby over this  I am not normally like this when I am sick normally I am more along the lines of “No stinking cold will stop me. Rah!” but this week I am whiney I think I am just tired and run down sick of travelling.

I am not hungry tonight so I am going to pick and snack. I lose my taste and appetite when I am sick. mr ems is going to have leftover pork loin wrapped in bacon and salad for supper.

Anyways…Atlanta tomorrow. Up at the butt crack of dawn to get to the airport for 5AM but at least I get back on Friday night.

I don’t remember if I mentioned that it was a definite, but I bought myself a little present the other day and it should be here tomorrow. And I do mean little. I bought 16 grams (finished product weight) of silver precious metal clay and I can’t wait to try it out! Incidentally, I weighed my favorite silver ring and it weighs about 1.5 grams.

Feel better soon, mmmmmmmmmm!

Way cool on the money raising, swampy!

Oooooh, silver clay sounds neat, Sticky!

My guess, rosie? They want to annoy us.

Sleepy… off to beddie bye.

Hugs.

Strangest thing I ever found in my car? Other than some odd finger bones I I dropped after I traded for from a guy in anatomical supply, not much. But in doing a restoration on a 32 Chevy I found some honest-to-God loot and a sawed off shotgun. And before someone asks it did all track back to a real crime and after the appropriate taxes were paid and forms filled out, the owner of the car got to keep it all.

Was at Knoebels (met Hal Briston) and will be off shortly for Camden and the Morgantown Zombie Walk. So this is semi-drive-by

I worked, i went and watched Brent Farbe lose to the Jets, I’m home. The Bistro ran out of Yuengling tonight. Before I even got there.

gt, impressive on the spreadsheet. Glad you’re in Columbus, or I’d be out of my Booster Club job.

rosie, Moooommmm!, I guess I should take some pictures. Should I clean up, or throw even more crap on the floor?

I guess I’m glad you didn’t eat my BBBRRRAAAAAIIINNNNNSSSSS! And I still need to learn the backwards alphabet.

Hey, Spaz!!!

swampy, I avoided the Parish Coucil by working on the day it met. I do the Booster Club because we drink before and after the meetings.
