I’ve got a couple of ideas for a venue but find myself wondering if we want an outdoor picnic where everyone brings a dish or meet at a restaurant kind of thing.
Too hot for outdoors. Inside is better.
May 12th is fine with me, though I prefer dinner than lunch. Dinner is just more fun, and we can all go out to a night place together if we so desire, where-as with lunch it kinda limits our options.
Come on, you guys must not be natives- May is warm, but not hotter than Hades. I’d prefer an outdoor thing, as long as there’s shade, because a 12-pack and some homemade pasta salad is cheaper than going to a fancy little restaurant or something.
But I’m used to nice breezes off the Gulf/bay- if the air’s going to be muggy and stagnant I’ll have to rethink that position.
I just wanted to add that our own Rick is coming in from California on the 15th and would love to be there if possible.
I think I’ll be in Tampa and Orlando around July 4th. If you guys do something that weekend, I’m there.
I could do a lunch thing on the 12th but I’d rather do it indoors myself. We don’t have to go 'spensive.

Tu Tu Tango’s on I-Drive is a nice tapas place. Not too expensive, and we can all order goodies and share.

I thought it was kind of expensive as a dinner-for-two kind of place, but that’s just me. It is fun, though!

Yes, I am a native. And smart enough to avoid being outdoors in the heat from May-September, unless water sports are involved. 
Yeah, May 12th is not going to work for me. It’s the day before Mother’s Day, and I have Things To Do. Have a drink for me.
Have a drink for me as well. I’m going to be moving there on the 14th, but obviously that’s going to be too late.
Maybe in a few months when it’s autumn and not so hot, ok?
Why not something around the 19th or 20th and indoors at a place not too expensive or dressy for most of those wishing to attend. Even Firday evening the 18th might be good.
If Nashitashii cant come on the 12th, why not postpone it a week, to say like the 20th? That works fine for me. Opinions?

Go ahead if you’d like, and I’ll try to make it if things work out. We’ve got a lot of stuff to unpack, and I’m going to have to look for a job too.
