Breakfast was good, but disappointing. I was expecting a buffet, based on the photos of eggs Benedict, French toast, and bloody Marys in the email. Those were just things on their breakfast menu. I had a ‘small’ NY steak, rare, with two over-easy eggs, and I ate about half of the hashbrowns. I gave Mrs. L.A. my toast. As I said, it was good; but I was in the mood for a buffet.

In other news, tonight is the Epiphany Party. Thus, an appearance must be made. We stopped at Sam’s and bought some frozen pigs in a blanket to take. Don’t judge! I’ll even be nice and bake 'em up first.

It’s been a pleasant day. I went to lunch with SIL (Cajun food) and did a few chores around the house. Stuffed bell peppers Florentine for supper. Yum! I’m off irk tomorrow for a doctor appointment and general sloth beyond that.

I don’t know about 36 individual rolls, but the 36 roll equivalent pack is only the midsized package at my local grocery stores & probably a starter pack at the warehouse clubs.
Agree with the others on rate & minimum hours. I’d hang up on somebody offering $25/hr…unless it’s something really cool to do.

I’m awake because my upstairs neighbors are moving furniture and vacuuming. At 1:30 a.m… I don’t know how anyone could be this clueless/thoughtless. Earlier today, their TV was on so loud, I could hear every word the announcer was saying. I’ve already asked them to turn down their TV/music late at night, which they’ve done. I hate to be “that neighbor,” the one who complains to the manager that they’re violating the quiet time rules.
Not sure what to do.
I’m awake because I suddenly woke up at 0300. I went back to sleep, but got up at 0520. I’m irking now, and I have a dentist’s appointment later.
