Mostly a “guy” question. Do you own/wear pajamas?
FTR, I am single guy, mid 50’s and I own a couple of pajamas, the REAL, old school kind, like these:

I love mens old school jammies, I sleep in the tops, almost everynight. Mr.Wrekker has the bottoms.
Just a couple of years ago (I’m 54) I started wearing pajamas. I buy only the bottoms, cut them off and wear old T-shirts as a top. Thing is they MUST have pockets.
Off the shelf pajama sets with long bottoms and sleeves cause me to feel over heated here in Tampa.
I used to be able to come home and lounge in my boxers but now mom lives with me and beer drinking and nut scratching has fallen by the wayside.
I have a couple pairs of flannel bottoms I wear with a t-shirt and then a flannel zip-up on or off depending on what’s comfortable. I don’t own any matched sets.
Yes, I wear pajamas. I pretty well need to wear long pants to bed to protect my legs from scratches and my sheets from various skin creams.
Nope, no pajamas for me. I’ve got some lightweight shorts and shirts that can serve as sleepwear when I’m staying overnight somewhere or sharing a hotel room, but they’re normally workout clothes.
Minus the shoes and socks, this is what I sleep in every night:
Pajamas.
Um, no.
Nor do I trip over the ottoman each day.
T-shirt and boxers in bed. Robe around the house.
I used to pull on my pants before exiting the bedroom. I don’t have to do that anymore since my daughters left for college.
I have PJ’s in a drawer somewhere. Probably a father’s day gift. I wore them a couple times.
None for me. I wear athletic shorts 24/7 (yes even under my pants) so I just sleep in them. Rarely I wear a shirt, but sometimes. More often than not I’ll have socks on.
When I was single, I loved wearing men’s jammies - the cutesy women’s styles weren’t very comfortable, and night gowns just got twisted and clumped up. After I got married, the jammies went away, altho I’ll wear a sleep shirt (a long t-shirt) when it’s chilly so my shoulders don’t get cold. I can’t always keep the covers pulled up to my chin as a result of sharing the bed and the covers.
My husband never wears pajamas. He has flannel pants for lounging around while watching TV, but they’re shed when he comes to bed.
Pajama pants are for lounging around the house, or looking stylish for a quick trip to Walmart. Underwear is for sleeping.
Do extra long tube socks and a short robe (missing the sash) count?? Or what about rubber gloves and a painters tarp wrapped around one leg??
Oh, Robbbb!
The last time I wore pajamas I was about 14. That was a long time ago.
Like theBlob in his/her post above, I’ve taken to wearing pajama pants around the house (no tops), but tend to sleep in the altogether (naked, that is).
Easy to slip on/off, comfortable and you can wear them while going to the mailbox without shocking the neighbors (at least, none have expressed shock to me yet).
I do, though I’m slowly moving to mix-and-match bottoms and tops.
The only two instances in which I wear pajamas (just the bottoms, actually) are 1) when we are guests spending the night in someone else’s house, or 2) when we have guests staying in our guest room.
Typically PJ pants and a t shirt (unless it is hot, then shorts). Now that is cold I wear a long sleeve top.
Most of my camping this year it was cold enough that I wore long underwear, a smartwool top, thick wool socks, and a balaclava.

This is my happy place: Winter time. Jammies on. Something brewing in the Slow Cooker making the house smell good. And a spicy Bloody Marry to sip on while I wait.
