Since this is a debate forum I ask people to read these verses in the bible and give me their opinion on Matthew 13:37-43.After reading this, does this not sound like the angels are going to destroyed the evil people and leave the good?
Also please look at Matthew 5:5 again. …Daniel 2:44… thanks

Brewster2, you contribute nothing to this community. You’re not an honest debater, you’re just using this place to preach - you show no interest in your threads beyond your OP. Why don’t you find a street corner and a soapbox, and leave us alone?

Jehovah be with you…
Would you mind posting the verses in question? The only bible I own is about Palm OS programming, and I don’t think God will mind if you stick to short excerpts of his work.
my favorite verse is Revelation 22:22.
These are some of the ones I never can quite explain, although the imagery is quite lovely in some of them (and not so in others):
We let kids read this stuff?
I have to agree with you there. Very informative. Who knew God could be so angry?
Brewster2, I’ll see your Matthew 13:37-43 and raise you Matthew 25:31-46. Tell me, sir (or madam as the case may be) are you so sure you’re a sheep? I, myself, wouldn’t presume to say so.
I’ll also give you what my Christian faith depends upon, Matthew 22:37-40, and instead of linking to it, I’ll include it, King James style:
(By the way, to quote someone or something in such a way that we can tell your words from theirs, use {quote} (whatever it is you’re quoting) {/quote} only replace the {}s with s.)
It is against those two Commandmnents that I ultimately measure my actions and my belief. Since I’m human, I fall short of the second one most days, but still I try. From what I’ve seen of you here, I’m not even sure you acknowledge it. After all, how can you love your neighbor while glorying in the idea of his destruction and suffering?
Respectfully,
CJ
First: If you have no interest in Biblical/Spiritual matters or offended by such don’t open the post or close it as soon as you realize it’s contents.
Second: An understanding of the Will of God is not based on a single passage of scripture.
Third: Matthew 22:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. This applies first to a specific discussion but it applies in general to studying the bible.
“And the Lord said, ‘Windows CE is an abomination and shall be struck down.’ And there was much rejoicing, at least until the American manufacturers pulled out and left the PDA market to the Japanese.”
There is a god!
I’ve been telling you that for simply years, dear!
Absolutely brilliant.
Brewster2 you know, you are right. Maybe I do preach on here. But, you must admit that there are some verses in the Necronomicon that you can’t explain. Yet I say things, that seem strange to some, but make you think. This will be my last post (for this 60 second period). So, here it is- Cthulhu waits. The Deep Ones are his children. And Cthulhu will rise from Ry’leh and Hastur the Unspeakable shall abide in the dakness between the stars, and no man shall be left on an earth twisted into unspeakable nightmare. So have a good day, and I do hope some of you will read the Necronomicon.
Cthulhu waits and dreams in the deep…
I despise unmitigated witnessing here!
It is a matter of public record that the Dread Bodoni has cast Cthulhu into the Outermost Void, ne’ermore to trouble the peaceful World of Dopers. And I think of referring to “Hastur the Unspeakable” is clear homophobia, an insult to our beloved Mockingbird.
So let us have no more of this drive-by evangelizing, y’hear?!?

A poster named Cthulhu was banned. But that was simply a human going by the name. We also had a poster who went by Satan banned.
The real Cthulhu lies dead on his crypt at Ry’leh, dreaming and waiting for his return.
I can’t find the thread but I believe Mockingbird changed his username partly due to sighting several byakhees.
And, I do not drive by. I stand on the street corner and continue to testify even as those clean young men with their nice white coats come to take me away

Shodan, I don’t get it. Are you calling me a jerk for wanting an honest conversation rather than an incoherent drive-by and a refusal to respond to discussion, and therefore telling this new guy off?
Or are you calling brewster a jerk for doing the drive-by itself?
Yes, it sure does sound like that’s what the bible passage is saying. Thanks, Shodan.
Now, brewster2, it’s quid pro quo time. Please read the following passage and give me your opinion on it.
After reading this, does it not sound like Mrs. Todd has discovered a way to warp space and time?
