Paris goes free! WTF?!

in a statement to lowbrass

to be fair, I think he’s an ass irrespective to his denying that statement.

But, hey! This gives Paris time to prepare for her role in a Stan Lee cartoon on MTV!

So, who wants to start the betting pool on how long this will last?

Apos, I didn’t want to come back, but you’re being so fucking obtuse that I feel the need to explain this stuff to you. Do you have ANY source that verifies any of your claims about the alleged reasons why she got a longer sentence than anyone else? If you do, post it now. If not, then this is entirely conjecture. I don’t know why you’re having such a hard time with the concept.

I agree that the medical justification thing was bizarre. Still, the number of days she spent in jail was not unusual. You can get all red-faced and flustered about it and call me nasty names, but lots of experts agree with me.

And why do you keep insisting on making this pedantic point about her not being “let out”? She was let out of JAIL. I already explained that that’s what I meant, yet you pretend as though I never did. If 4 days is the average treatment one gets, then 4 days PLUS the rest of the sentence on home arrest is not “better treatment”. It is decidedly worse treatment.

I think what’s really happening is that we’re just talking past each other. YOU’RE saying her treatment was “better” than serving the entire sentence in jail, as per the judge’s unprecedented stipulation, while I’m saying it wasn’t “better” than what people normally get under similar circumstances.

I doubt this explanation will do any good though. But now I truly am tired of this, so I’ll allow you to continue to take as many shots at me as you like. Have fun.

Hilton ‘improves prison conditions’

Jesus: EVERY cite we went over like ten pages ago noted this stuff. She WAS late to court. She DID defend herself (or rather have lawyers defend herself) on the grounds that she hadn’t read what she signed.

What makes your demand for evidence particular ridiculous is that you yourself were discussing this along with us! And now it’s like black hole land: never happened. Cite!?

Again, you are misrepresenting WHAT they agree with you on. The cite I posted agreed that compared to the country as a whole, NOT taking into account specific conduct relevant to her sentencing and NOT taking into account whether this judge is harsher or not, she got a harder sentence than 80%. But while that’s a good starting point, it doesn’t really answer the question. Maybe that remaining 20% are the people who did things, like she did, that pissed off the judge. Isn’t that pretty relevant to the issue?

If you can agree it is, then why keep lying and claiming it isn’t?

Because you keep misstating it. Which just so happens to help you completely avoid that central issue in whether she got special treatment or not. You brush it off as “bizarre” when in fact that’s the core issue in the case.

Zero! I pick zero!

Paris would really redeem herself, in my eyes, if she devoted her life to improving prison conditions around the world by staying in them.
