I love Pearls! I’m almost developing a Trix rabbit affection for that poor crocodile…even though I like Zebra.
On a related note…In the 13 December strip we see the Zebra family. I think the skinny one is “Zebra”, but the fat one is also wearing a tie. Is Zebra in a gay relationship?
I don’t know why, but that bayou dialect is one of the funniest damn things in comics today - IMHO a close second to Bucky’s monkey fixation (“Did you say sandwich monkey?”).
