I don’t know if that’s the usual perception, but I’m sure some people look at it the opposite way. Like dating her probably isn’t good for his health or going to end up well. Maybe depends on sexual/gender dynamics and your view of the people. Ariana Grande, to me, seems like a social media age narcissistic sex object - which I totally don’t get because I’m not into young women who resemble children. I see Pete as a fragile drug addict with a lot of mental health issues and he seems to have landed some “prize” in the form of a supposedly “hot girl” who will exploit the relationship for press just like her previous 2 (that I am aware of) celebrity relationships. They both just broke up with significant others to get into this relationship and are already talking in ways that are huge red flags. So, believe it or not, not everyone is “slagging” Pete Davidson to worship some young lady many of us know best for being a supporting Nickelodeon child actress.
Big deal. He’s probably having sex with Ariana Grande, something he probably couldn’t even conceive of happening 3 or 4 years ago.

I’m not trying to be an ass, but…I don’t get how Pete got on SNL, and Ariana is the Alex Rodriguez of music. A very talented person who we all know is some kind of lizard person desperately trying to be human. “Humans lick donuts on the shelf right??”
So them being together? Sure, why not.

That describes a lot of former or current child celebrities. Kids who grow up in cages tend to end up kind of weird, no matter how pretty the cage; heck, my classmate whose mother treated her like an art project didn’t end up crazier because her aunt intervened, and she wasn’t even famous. Any who manages to avoid being completely nuts has already done well.
And, being famous, if any of them do the kind of stuff that in someone else their age would just be a stupid stunt, when it’s them it ends up plastered in covers. That doesn’t help things.
Also, I think Lorne’s grooming Davidson to be the next Andy Samberg.
