No, it is not clear that it was unintended. Ariana has not said anything, but the video clearly shows her recoiling and pulling away, looking down at his hand like, “You’re really doing this?”
The singing impressions are hella impressive, but her spoken impression of Jennifer Lawrence is astounding. It’s like they had Lawrence dub it.

Britney Spears is still rather successful, despite actually having a run of personal problems about ten or twelve years ago.

I disagree. GaGa is still going strong. Miley is too. Demi could be but i don’t really follow her enough to know. The diff between Spice Girls, Britney and Miley and Ariana is that the latter two are genuinely talented.
Talent has nothing to do with it. Notoriety is the issue.
As for the Spice girls, I am not really sure if any of them are still singing or recording. I am also pretty sure I wouldn’t know one if I saw them on the street. These teeny-bopper singers and groups are a dime a dozen. I don’t try to keep up. I don’t watch SNL anymore so I don’t know the Pete guy. I was just listening to the lil’wrekker and her friends talk about it. Then I saw something on TV about the groping incident. It’s all very ludicrous to me. And unfortunate for Ariana.
It was much more than a funeral. It was a celebration of life.
I’m happy to wait for Ariana to speak on this topic before making a final judgment, but while watching the show live, I thought, “Damn, that dude is grabbing her boob.”

I saw a notice on the news early this morning that “the groper guy” has apologised but she is saying nothing on the subject.
The lil’wrekker says Ariana has vanished off social media. Not sure how she knows this.
The poor kid doesn’t need this type of media attention. She had that bomb thing, and now this. I can understand why she’d just want some time to herself.
Maybe she’s just done with reading people blaming her dress length for the Bishop’s wandering hand.
Sporty Spice was for awhile as she was the most talented of the bunch. no idea if she still is.

It seems quite clear to me. She even pulls away at points, and he grabs and pulls her closer. Even without the boob touching part, it’s rather strong armed. Rule number 1 when touching someone is to give them a way to opt out. Throw in grabbing her at boob height, and the racist comment about her being a Taco Bell item, and I think it’s quite clear and then how he keeps moving his fingers to grab her more, and I think it’s quite clear.

I assume that most celebrities (with the obvious exception of Donald J Trump) have professionals managing their social media “presence”, including making new posts, reading those from others and so forth. Perhaps some of them have private Facebook/Twitter/etc accounts used for communication with close family and friends, but I assumed that the public accounts were managed.
I’ve seen the video now. It’s possible it was unintentional but that was not incidental contact, the guy was too handsy no matter what, and seems to be an asshole in general. Grande can forgive him if she wants but the general scorn is still warranted.
Maybe technially ‘most’ is true…but believe me there are plenty out there who SHOULD have media managers.
