Maybe this will help.
Ah. Never heard the song. I was more into New Wave than hair bands.
You’ve never heard the song? So then were you really trying an experiment about adding “if you know what I mean” and it just HAPPEN to coincide with such a good subject?
That’s a hilarious bit of coincidence/serendipity if there ever was one!
Pecan’s my favorite.
You’ve never had Chicago-style deep dish pizza, I take it.
Australian meat pies are good too!
Oh, and for the record,
That’s sqrt(10) day.
Mine too. And cherry, Warrent notwithstanding. And peach. And that terrible looking, bad for you 'Nilla wafer, Cool Whip, Jello Pudding and banana monstrosity. I’d eat the hell out of that. Shepard’s Pie? Love it! Rhubarb? fanfuckingtastic!
I love pie.
Is that anything like a shepherd’s pie?
Regarding 3/16,
Sometimes when the time is 3:16, I’ll say “It’s Christianity o’clock.”
Then again, I call 7:47 “jumbo jet o’clock” and 1:41 “the square root of two o’clock”…
… as shown on my Facebook page, here:
Of course, 39 digits give you the circumference of the universe to an accuracy of less then the width of a hydrogen atom.
Coconut cream pie. Runner up: banana.
Oh, what a happy question. I made a triple berry pie for pi day. But if I had to pick one favorite, it would be cherry pie with vanilla ice cream. Tied for second runner up is pumpkin, butterscotch, lemon meringue, key lime, peanut butter, peach, blueberry, pecan, and chocolate banana cream. Also apple, but only if my sister made it. She makes the best apple pie in the world, it tastes like love.
The math folks in my office will love that, but I’m afraid I don’t have the faintest idea what sort of dessert goes with square roots.
If anyone is curious, I have a lovely chocolate cream pie with meringue sitting in the fridge waiting to go to the office tomorrow. To my knowledge, I’ve never tried chocolate cream pie, so I’ll cross my fingers and hope that it’s good.
No. And looking at it, I don’t think I want to. Looks like a quiche, actually.
In my definition pies have lids.
Typically, it’s milkshakes. Especially shamrock shakes, this time of year.
And GuanoLad, do you not count pumpkin pie as a pie?
P.S. Chocolate cream pie is delicious. I will have to make it again sometime when I can get more than a sliver.
I would commit numerous indecent acts right about now in exchange for a Chicago deep-dish pizza. Especially one with meatballs. Mmmmmmmmmmmm! :o
Also: chocolate cream, banana cream, coconut cream, yum! Haven’t had any of those in ages. Damn!
Americans are clearly very loose on what they call a pie. I may be playing a different game to everyone else here. As you were.
