I especially like this one: http://cdn.theatlantic.com/static/infocus/election110712/s_e14_80937144.jpg
Ha! Those poor people.
This one is pure gold.
I’m playing “count the minorities.” I think I’m at 1.
Growing up around Midwestern white people, A lot of those are probably how those people always look.
Hah; I did that last night with the CNN live feed of Romney’s campaign headquarters. I also counted only one possible minority; some guy who looked like he might have had an Asian ancestor somewhere. A huge contrast to the people in Obama’s headquarters live feed.
Actually though what strikes me about these people is just how old they skew. Lots of white hair, and the ones that don’t have white hair tend to be rather wrinkled.
I cannot for the life of me figure out how this woman’s legs work. What the hell?
I saw that one, and thought the same thing. I find it a little disturbing to look at. Seriously, can anyone explain what’s happening there?
Those are the crazy legs of broken dreams.
You see… the female body has a way of arranging the legs like that if a legitimate desire for vaginal legislation goes unfulfilled.
Actually I think I see what’s going on - she kneeling with her left leg (the one against the floor), then crossing her other leg over that one in a bizarre combination of a lounging position and a cross-legged position.
But her KNEES are in the completely wrong place/angle for that! I mean, I know how she’s theoretically sitting, but something in that picture is just… not working.
She’s in shock.
In Mad Men, one of Betty Draper’s admirers remarked on her constant sadness. Her reply: “My people are Nordic.”
More evidence of anti-white racism. Can’t you just see the passion, the desire, in the faces of these patriotic citizens as they cry out for more liberty, justice and Americanism?
No. But I can see a bunch of baying loons who wouldn’t have looked out of place in Nuremburg. Maybe you posted the wrong link.
It’s how one sits compactly on the floor if one has been taught from birth never ever to spread ones legs in public.
This one almost looks like it could be a Norman Rockwell painting.
My goodness. That is a whole roomful of old sad people.
That bunch of 47% Medicare Moochers should be looking pretty happy surely?
