What’s with all the crying? I mean, if Romney won, I would’ve been bummed. Probably cursing a little. But flat out crying? What the hell? It’s only four frickin’ years. It’s not like Obama is Emperor for Life now.

Many of these people think that America is doomed to destruction because the Evil Brown Socialist Communist Atheist Antichrist Muslim won. I’ve been seeing lots of “America is over!” rhetoric. We’ll probably see another run on ammunition I think.
Upon news of Obama winning the election, one of my coworkers sitting next to me immediately started shopping for guns and ammo online. He is convinced that Obama is going to take away everyone’s guns and ammo.
Also, another coworker of mine (really more of a supervisor of sorts), ardently believes that now that Obama has won reelection, he will install himself as president for life.
Thirdly, another coworker of mine said that he knew obama was going to win because he was the antichrist.
So yes… if you believed what these people believed, you might be crying too, just like Der Trihs said. They really believe this crap.

I think it is just that she has spent the last two months trying to understand Romney’s tax plan.
The problem with democracy is…sometimes the other guy wins.

For the record, the candidate whose campaign sign she is actually sitting in front of (UT State Governor Gary Herbert-R) won in a landslide.
As an aside, as far as I know good ol’ Governor Gary is the only current state executive to not even have so much as a Bachelor’s Degree, but he does have a 30-something year-old unemployed son who apparently likes to stalk & sexually harass women at the gym, having collected a couple of restraining orders against him just since his dad took office.

Yeah most of the folks who voted for Obama were white. We are his single most important demographic.
