Pixie cuts on straight women. Why God Why?!

I think many women look amazing in pixie (or short) cuts. But then I’m a guy with long hair so what do I know?

I think it should be this

Reading some of the posts… viewing some of the photos… I think I’ll just hang out in here a while.
To link a pic here, does it have to be hosted? Probably. Not from my laptop, right?

No, my comment is in response to the wearisome “I’d rather be ugly in protest of society’s expectations of beauty” can-of-worms that was brought up by others. If you think making yourself intentionally look ugly is some sort of statement you’re welcome to it; I shrug and laugh.

That’s correct. I use TinyPic for my KSP pictures I want to show off here.

Though it’s a little longer now, I tend to wear my hair very short and in an androgynous cut similar to this (they call this a pixie, but I think of a pixie as something wispier). I get lots of compliments on it, and I also occasionally get called “sir.” Works for me. I don’t seem to have trouble finding jobs, for the record. Must be my manly air of competence.

The definition of ‘butch’ used by some people on this board continues to bemuse me…

I’m pretty sure it means “She won’t have sex with me.”

Bingo.

While I love women with long beautiful hair I also know its much more work and I cant blame them for cutting it short.

Its weird where on many occasions the men have longer hair than the women.

I love super short hair on an attractive woman.

Pretty soon I’m going to have to start a thread about mullets and toupees, and the Hair Club for Men, if people don’t stop it.

Wrong. My shoulders are wider than my waist. I used to lift weights, but I think it’s my natural build anyway. My DDD chest should clue in people who are confused by broad shoulders, though.

Really? wow. So my waist-length hair is actually butch under the right circumstances. Interesting. For some reason, I have been hit on by strange men (different ones) twice in a space of like five weeks, which is remarkable considering that I’m middle-aged, slightly overweight, and usually look like I need a nap. I was dumbfounded both times. Literally. And I do not use the word literally to mean “figuratively.” Next time, I’ll say “See my hair? for you, it’s a crew cut.”

I thought the same thing! She has just the most…pleasant face and a wonderful smile!

I’m going to try to smile more just because you said that!

Thanks for all the kindness, Ephemera. Maybe the OP will post his pic so we can see if he’s in the position to judge anyone on their attractiveness.

Can’t find the comments you’re referring to in this thread, likely because they don’t exist. You and the OP seem to be the only ones who think that pixie cuts are inherently ugly and that women who have pixie cuts are intentionally trying to make themselves ugly. You are, of course, wrong.

I anticipate that you will continue to bleat about women trying to make themselves deliberately ugly and will misrepresent others’ statements, etc. I further anticipate that I will have lost interest in you and will probably not be responding further. I am, of course, correct.

It’s like you’re psychic.

Yeah, umm, see post #18:

Followed up by the equally insightful post #23:

And of course your enlightening contribution in post #25:

All of which clearly opened the can-of-worms mentioned in post #103:

For the record, I find pixie cuts very attractive on women. What I don’t find attractive is feminist baggage because no guys asked you out in high school.

You don’t make friends with baggage! You don’t make friends with baggage!*

But you’d really want to forgo showering 6 days a week if you lived in an idealized world? I like being clean.

Nope. No connection at all.

That might make you gay. I’m a bit unclear how this all works.
