I’m sure I’ll get used to Big Bang Theory’s Penny with her short hair in a hurry. I don’t care if she is straight or gay or wears her hair long or short, most women are beautiful in their own way.
Some women simply look better in short hair. I am one of those.
You are stunning. Your hair suits your face.
Huh. I’m a straight guy and I think pixie cuts are sexy as hell. Short hair in general is pretty hot. I don’t have to move shit out of the way to get to the neck.
It’s gotta be easier to maintain and a lot more comfortable in hot weather. I’ve never had long hair so I don’t know if that’s true.
What’s not to like?
AMEN! And, yes, I have a longish pixie cut. Have been frequently told that it is a very attractive style on me. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it.
Tink is definitely a fairy.
Nothing’s manlier than being gay since you don’t have to poison yourself with the femininity of <spits> women. Gay guys are so manly only other manly men will suffice. The ancient Greeks had this all figured out.
“Wanting to be with a woman? How gay is that? You win sex against a man; that’s as straight as it gets.”
Audrey Hepburn. drops mic
The same voices that demonize feminism also demonize short hair as being “unfeminine”. It’s an attempt to define “feminine” as being “primarily concerned with looking attractive to men”. It’s an attempt to limit women’s authority and agency. It’s no coincidence that long hair is currently en vogue in a time of such determined assaults on feminism.
If I woman am on speaking terms with [Mom, girlfriend, potential girlfriend, coworker, friend, waitress] changes her hair (cutting, coloring, wearing it differently), my standard comment is “I liked it before, I like it now, I’ll like it the next time you change it.” And it’s true.
I know this thread is a zombie, but someone linked to it, and I didn’t see it in 2014.
There’s an old movie (Cypher) with Lucy Liu. I never thought much about her looks before, but I never thought she was an especially attractive actress. Her acting was fine, and that’s all I cared about. But in this movie, she was so pretty! I was kinda surprised. I thought it was maybe because it was a few years old when I saw it, and her being younger? She was wearing a short assymetrical bob, and as the movie progressed I was thinking that was it. I’d never seen her without her characteristic long hair.
At the end of the movie, she ripped off what was a wig. Wow. She immediately went back to being just o.k. looking to me.
