I’ve been listening to ‘Weird Al’ Yankovic’s song, Wanna B Ur Lovr. The song is just one long string of bad pickup lines (he asked for suggestions on Usenet, then put them all together).
I “get” all of the lines in the song, except for this one:
“I’ll bet your outfit makes a lot of noise in the dryer.”
???

I’ve always assumed it was just something someone incredibly stupid would say to someone wearing the chains and zippers look. Maybe I’m just incredibly stupid. :eek:
I assumed the line is hoping for: “Oh yeah? I’ll TAKE that bet!” And then he/she proceeds to strip.
And presumably, first goes to the asker’s house before stripping, unless the bar happens to have a laundry room.
And surely to require a drier, the recipient of the line would first have to be, ahem, wet…
