YAY! I can finally get my fix. I was starting to get the shakes from SDMB withdrawal, and it wasn’t a pretty sight.
Busy weekend though - we rented a car on Saturday to run errands (and ended up with a ginormous Jeep SUV instead, since they were out of cars). Over the course of the day, we went to Costco for groceries, Petsmart for supplies, Canadian Tire for replacement BBQ parts and the garden centre for some rocks (the grass at the base of our 100+ yr old maple is looking unhappy… so I’m replacing it with a rock garden).
On Sunday I weeded the garden, trimmed the edges on the lawn after The Boy was done mowing, netted up the 'maters to keep hungry birdies/squirrels away, and got a head start on some of the reports I needed to run for work today.
I also attempted to fix the BBQ, but it looks to be a hopeless cause since the bolts holding the broken burner are completely corroded and won’t come off, even with a liberal spraying of WD40… so I’m stuck with a dead BBQ plus a useless $45 replacement burner that I can’t install. Sniff. I’m open to suggestions if any of you handy types have bright ideas to loosen them up, since the alternative is spending the rest of the summer BBQ-less.

According to GT’s sig, **MamaTigs **is up this week – maybe someone should PM her? (I feel I don’t know her well enough, or I’d do it)
I heard that too and thought the weirdest part was that the mother who knew didn’t say anything at the hospital when the babies were born because her husband “didn’t want to embarrass the doctor.” :eek: WTF? If you realized that the hospital switched your baby with someone else’s, who cares who would be embarrassed?? I’d be raising hell!
I spent the outtage chatting with dopers on IRC - it was amusing. I missed y’all though. I am in a grumpy mood because (TMI unless you’re a girl)
I’ve started my period, which I haven’t had since last December. To make up for lost time, I am cramping like hell and bleeding so heavily that even the DivaCup can’t hold up for more than a few hours at a time. And the blood is so thickly clotted I’m tempted to reach up and check to see if my uterus is still there.
MamaTigs had a very busy weekend and has had no time to do an MMP. This morning she didn’t sound likely to do one this week, either. Anybody who wants to go ahead and start one, I think it’s okay to do it.
