Comment: Roberto Benigni with toothpick
Having burned out on John Woo more than a decade ago, Sage Rat’s entry (for me, anyway) brought the list down a few notches. Johnny Stecchino while not a great movie, did have one of the best ever executions of the “double fools double by pretending to be an image in a mirror” gag.

Instead of an obscure Italian film about a bus driver who becomes involved with the Mob, a much more recognizable film where DeNiro is a bus driver whose’s son becomes involved with the Mob.
I’m going to have to call a foul or violation or whatever.
Samuel L Jackson wasn’t in The General’s Daughter. I believe you are thinking of Basic.

Comment: Although W&G are better, IMHO, in short-film format, this has a lot of laughs. Ralph Fiennes and Helena Bonham Carter are slumming a bit, doing voiceover work here, but give their characters a real zing.
Shit, you got me, I was racking my brain to think of the name of the movie and TGD popped out. I was thinking of Basic.
