Sorry about that, guys. I know it’s annoying and try to keep it under control, but I’ve been sucking at it lately. China has been a tough transition for me and so far I suck at living here. I think I’m feeling a lot of nostalgia for a place that I kind of somewhat understood.
I also feel frustrated because it’s not prudent for me to talk too openly about my current experiences in a public forum, so there is a lot I’d like to contribute that I can’t. I think I’m overcompensating a bit.
If it helps, I almost never mention Cameroon IRL. And I think the bad news I got today probably has tempered my nostalgia a bit. Anyway, in the future I’ll try a little harder to keep things relevant.

Debating with you is like wrestling a slimy eel but it is not in posts that you conceive your deceptions but in the way you posts in debates spreadout throughout the thread itself. You’re really not worth the time but anyone that cares can just browse through your style of posting in GD.

You nitpick small points and avoid the main debate. You try to shift the debate to a point you can “win” and away from the actual debate. You do this in many threads.
You are being a complete dick to continue doing this when asked not to and it’s childish. What we have in these threads are conversations, by placing your salutation after every post you disrupt the flow of those conversation. Since no one likes or appreciates it, I would honestly like to know your motivations for typing those extra 22 keystrokes. Of course you won’t answer because the answer is that you are being a complete dick.
Brazil I stop debating you as you are not worth the time. Your posts speak for themselves. I will not be wasting more time on you and I am not a liar. Now you can celebrate your “victory” as is your wont.
I forgot to mention, this is not your lame blog, you do not get to set the rules of debate on the SDMB. It is just one more example of what a complete ass you are. Don’t fight the hypothetical, sorry to disagree, but “Since no one likes or appreciates it” is not a valid statement. The board is split on this subject and while those that like sign-offs are a minority they do exist. If you correct it to apparently most do not like it, it would be valid.
FWIW, I don’t mind it at all. I don’t think you relate stories that aren’t relevant and I enjoy reading about how other parts of the world deal with different things.
And I like Nava’s posts because she often throws in a spanish phrase and then I can try to translate it before I read her translation.
She mentioned it in her post earlier. That was why I found Liberal’s post so funny.
I don’t really recommend it but you need to read most of the thread I linked to to see how **Brazil **twists words and chooses only low hanging fruit in his debates.
Those of us that have bothered to debate him in the past, know well how he operates.
He also likes to try to set the rules of the debates. For instance wanting me to provide “3 links, plus 3 quotes.” Why on earth should I bother especially as I have explained it is not in a single post you can see his methods but in his overall debating style. He wants me to link to specific posts so he can derail this into the debate of his own choice. I do not accommodate him.
