Beef. I am very picky on seafood and won’t eat it just because it’s there. I won’t eat it cold (cocktail shrimp can bite me), don’t like most fish except tropical, etc.
But a nice cut of steak, or some thin slivers of beef…yum.

I’d probably have to say vegetarian, if I have absolutely no knowledge of what I’m going to get. I love a lot of seafood, but I’m allergic to scallops, and most poultry is OK, but duck makes me sick. Pork and beef are OK, but I’d play it safe. And probably end up with fennel pie.
Where’s the Mr. Yuck smilie?
I’ve seen this at seafood restaurants, where they’ll have a token “landlubber’s” meal. Granted, they usually get more specific than calling it mammal.
Since I don’t know how it’ll be prepared, beef. I like all of them, except maybe pork (I’ll eat it, but I’m rarely enthused).
If I knew how it was going to be prepared, I’d probably go with seafood. I don’t get to eat it as often as I’d like (my dad doesn’t like fish), but some preparations are just unappealing to me.
Unfortunately I’m kind of a picky eater - I can’t eat anything too spicy, I don’t like salad, and really bland things don’t go down well.
Red Lobster does this, and I’ve heard that other seafood places do as well, as Little Nemo said. Half a dozen kinds of fish, at least, plus several kinds of shellfish, plus one or two beef and chicken dishes. I like their NY strip steak, but it’s way too big for me to finish in one meal. Generally I order it, and then add on half a pound of snow crab leg clusters. My husband eats the crab and part of my steak, and orders a side salad as well. And we split the baked potato.
I like most kinds of beef dishes, with burgers and steaks topping the list. Too bad red meat isn’t healthy to eat more than a few times a week, or I’d have it most of the time. I have chicken nearly everyday, so beef get’s all the more enjoyable whenever I get a chance to have have some (I currently live in a country where beef is nowhere near as popular as chicken). Don’t think I can ever go a day without at least some kind of meat. Not a huge seafood fan with a few exceptions. The only reason I ever have it at all is because its generally considered healthy to have some once in a while, and I avoid most kinds shellfish if I can, especially shrimp. Will rarely have pure veggie dishes unless there’s potato or cheese (not the healthiest, but I don’t really care. Enjoying my food is too important to me), or otherwise if it’s a “starter” or if I’m not very hungry.
^ Yep, a lot of seafood restaurants offer at most a couple of beef (almost always a steak) and chicken dishes (and maybe a veg. one).
