Single-use deoderant. There must be some way to make this profitable. You walk out of the house on a hot day and realize you forgot to put on deoderant (happens to me at least four or five times a year). In a perfect world, you could walk up to a news stand or bodega and pay 25-50 cents for enough deoderant for a single day.

That’s all I can think of right now.

Having no suggestions of my own, I just popped in to say that Tuckerfan started a similar thread two months ago.

Recurring OP topics reminds me of a lesson I took from Duerrenmatt’s drama Die Physiker: “Alles, was einmal gedacht wird, kann wieder gedacht werden.” Everything that is thought of once can be thought of again. “Weil es denkbar ist.” Because it is thinkable. So if I have a great idea for a thread, I better not deceive myself into thinking that it probably hasn’t been discussed before, and even if my thread is the first on a given topic, chances are that the topic will be brought up again in future threads.

Don’t read too much into my ramblings. It’s always good to see the variety of approaches we can take in approaching any given topic, and the historical record these similarly-themed threads leave is valuable in documenting changes in Zeitgeist.

Oh, indeed.
