PSYCH is back! (Finally.)

Our whole family happy it’s back. It’s one of a only a couple of shows the three of us (mom, dad, teen son) all love and watch together every week.

There’s been a few where they ran around in forests that clearly weren’t California, but the one I was thinking of was Indiana Shawn And The Temple Of The Kinda Crappy, Rusty Dagger when Cary Elwes returned and had a big boat chase around the harbour.

They should do something like Due South where they visit Canada, but it’s really Santa Barbara.

One other thing that makes Psych awesome is that most of the cast is on Twitter and are really fun and very responsive. Tim Omundson, who plays Lassiter, has responded to my Tweets many times.

I’m not on Twitter, but with all the little extra stuff they do (Psych-outs, the stuff around the sleepover event), it seems like they all have a blast making the show. I hope it’s true and not a big fake out. (I choose to believe it’s true, despite my cynical nature.)

I loved this promo, where they mimic Hall and Oates’ Private Eyes video.

I like when the log lady shows up, only she’s really talking to her son whom they can’t see yet, and the guys say, “yeah, that would have been too much.”

The best thing about *Psych *being back, besides it being back, is that Ion Network is showing scads of reruns. I can watch those shows over and over. Very “high density” entertainment where you always pick up something new on a repeat viewing.

Example: “This is my partner: Sterling Cooper.” I didn’t catch that one the first time around!

That was an excellent episode. I laughed out loud, I didn’t guess who the bad guy was, and there was actual real progression in Shawn and Gus’s lives. Outstanding!

I made out with Lassiter

Jules in the green dress…Good Gravy that was pleasant.

She looked quite pleasant just sitting there trying to put the furniture together.

yeah - but I didn’t much like Helene - kinda whiny and desperate.

Now that was a fantastic episode!

Blair Witch meets Finding Bigfoot. Funny stuff. USA needs to double the episodes per season.

Little known fact: Bigfoot was only a size ten!

I’m not sure I agree about doubling the episodes. I’d rather have a small number of awesome episodes than a larger number of mediocre episodes.

This - a hundred million times this -

I watched Huff. I think I might still have it in my Tivo’s Season pass, just in case. But I knew it was over when the brother (Teddy?) showed up in a McDonalds commercial.

Very funny episode. Gus really cracked me up with his girlish screams and his inability to resist the barbecue–even if it might be Lassiter.

The documentary-style was done well–especially at the end when we switch back to a normal 3rd-person view at the police station and Shawn explains to the others why we saw his ‘psychic’ vision in the film.

Loved Juliet taking out one of the Serbian guys with the crossbow.

I wonder if she’s been watching Walking Dead

I thought it was pretty funny the way Big Show kept “dying” over and over. Especially when Shawn and Gus were covering him up at the end. WILL SOMEONE PLEASE PULL THE AXE OUT? lol
