Tonight on USA network. Set your DVRs! I haven’t been this excited since Season 2 of Galavant. I just hope it doesn’t suck.
The only thing that would be better is if Netflix or Prime would pick host the episodes again. I just saw a thread on another website about happy shows and Psych is truly a happy fun show! Very excited here as well.

Not sure what you mean by “pick host” the episodes, but Netflix streaming does have all episodes of all seasons of the original run of Psych.
Netflix used to have the episodes, but they don’t anymore. I just checked.

Well I’ve heard it both ways.
Seriously, I didn’t know Netflix had dropped it. But the reruns still show regularly on the Ion cable network.
Movie was okay, but noting “bigger” to make it “movielike”, more like just a two-parter.
And I still really, really wish that there had been a Psych/Monk crossover, as was implied in the last minutes of the last episode.
Was also sad we only got a Lassiter cameo. Needed much more Lassiter, and a Desperaux cameo.
Basically a drawn out episode with all the stuff that would have ended up being cut to make time left in. I was happy with the close though. One of the funniest bits in the episode, and a nice call-back.
Finally got around to watching it. As others have said, it was just an extended regular episode, which was A-OK with me. Loved the callback to the pineapple! And my oh my, Mena Suvari got old; I would recognize her forehead anywhere.
Timothy Omundson had a stroke before filming, so the majority of Lassiter’s planned scenes had to be written out.
I was not aware. I guess I should pay more attention to his tweets. Like so many, if they are not tweeting when I am looking, I don’t see it.
Yikes! I hope he is okay. He was awesome in Galavant. I am looking forward to many great performances from Timothy O in the future.
I’m late to the party, here. I’m a huge fan of Psych, but I became a cordcutter earlier this year so I couldn’t watch this when it originally aired. Today, I’m stuck at home sick and was looking for something fun to watch to lift my spirits. So I checked and the Psych movie was available to stream on my Roku!
I was not disappointed! Very fun continuation of the story. Lots of laugh out loud moments for me. I was glad Henry and Woody showed up. I knew about Omundson’s stroke so I wasn’t surprised Lassie was mostly MIA. The ‘female Gus’ was funny and a pretty good match for Gus’s mannerisms. The dream sequence with Mary was a riot (so weird to see him in such a goofy role in contrast to his Westworld gig) and I loved the Gin Blossoms back in the day so I was quite excited when I recognized the lyrics to Allison Road.
