PUGA General Rules.

  1. Saying that Dopername wins it cause Dopername is undisputed extreme answer doesn’t work. Sorry. To claim the PUGA, the person MUST post in this topic telling all the nessasary info. That’s why they’re called PUGAs (Postings Until Goal Acheived). The only exception to this is found in rule 3.

  2. Please be serious and honest with your answers. Joke as much as you want about those real answers, (and feel free to just post to this topic making joking comments any way you like) but don’t ever give a number that’s greatly exaggerated if you’re answering to the current PUGA contest.

  3. PUGA winners are not set in stone. The exception to having to post IN a topic to claim the title is only null and void if a new PUGA has been made. If you see someone in the Hall of Fame from the past PUGAs that you can beat, then, by all means, post in the current PUGA going on (that would be this one) and tell me. I’ll then put you as the person in the next PUGA I make (and the Hall of Fame in that topic).

Specific PUGA Rules

  1. The pets are pets you have that live or stay in your house either some or most of the time. Therefore farm animals don’t count. If you have 50 cows outside in the barn or live on a horse ranch, sorry, they don’t count. The animal must be inside your home at least some of the time. If you have a cat, but it’s an outdoor cat or a dog that you usually keep in the backyard, those DO count…because it’s probably they’ve been inside the house at some time.

  2. The pet must be yours. You must have been given it, adopted it, or paid for it. It can’t be a pet you just take care of or feed. This would include strays or random animals that you see every so often. If it’s not yours, it doesn’t count.

  3. The pet MUST be bigger than a matchbox. In other words, it can’t be any pet you don’t intend to have or that goes against the norm (unless, of course, you’re the Addams Family. Therefore “Pet” cockroaches, flies, ants, beetles, etc, don’t count. Actually, they do, but only if they’re bigger than a matchbox. :stuck_out_tongue: Spiders do as long as they match this criteria.

  4. Fish count as ONE pet. If you own fish in a fishtank, it all counts just for one. No coming in this topic and announcing that you have 58 fishes. No matter what type of fish it is, they all count as one. However, other aquantic life such as turtles or crabs count separately.

  5. The count of pets must be current. Past pets you HAD or used to have at one point in your life doesn’t count. Even if you had 50 at one point in your life. The count stands for how many you have right now

  6. Finally, the pet must be living and animated and breathe air and eat food. :stuck_out_tongue: No pet rocks, or tamagotchis, or robot dogs, or teddy bears or the like.

Yeah, I know, a lot of specific rules for this one. But mostly they just keep people from winning via many various loopholes.
How many pets do you have?
I have 2 cats, so in total thats…er…2.

Can you beat that or do I get to finally win one of my one PUGAS?

I have three cats, nine chinchillas and fish. All are indoors in my house, are mine, are living, etc. That totals…13.

Well , I am already out of the running, but I have 5 dogs , 2 cats and 3 frogs, for a total of 10 pets. Can I count the crickets I have to buy and take care of to feed the frogs??? I have to feed them and clean out their tank… no ?

Alrighty then. Ten it is.
