Pull down the space heaters and yank out the parkas! (Florida's winter has arrived)

It’s gorgeous outside today! Days like this are the reason people move to Florida. It’s not going to last though. It’ supposed to be back up to the mid 80s by Friday.

Not sweating is a nice change of pace.

Damn, I wish it was this nice all year long. It’s great to be able to wear a blazer to work without worrying about sweating to death.

A conversation I had after a week of highs in the low teens:

1: “Seems warmer today.”
2: “Yeah. Must be 30-35 today.”
1: “It’s probably not above freezing, but still pretty warm.”
3: “I hate this place.”

I had my sleeves rolled up and wasn’t wearing a coat at the time.
It really did feel warm out.

But when it gets down to -40, the Wolves to Dogs exchange rate is exactly 1-to-1.

False alarm :frowning: 85 and humid today. At least there’s a breeze, but the windows are closed and the air’s on, so now I’m sad again.

Oh well. We’ll try again next week. :frowning:

I thought we’re supposed to get a front pass through tonight with strong thunderstorms, then cooler tomorrow (in the 70s). Am I the only one who heard that?

70% rain tonight and tomorrow, and tomorrow’s high is only 76. The temperatures are heading upward, going up to 83 on Wednesday. The lows for the week start at 61 tomorrow, but creeping up to 69 by Wednesday. Also, it’s gonna be windy and humid, so again A/C weather during the day.

Sorry to arrive so late to this thread…I was hibernating until the cold left. Is it gone yet? Where’s the sun?
