Fluid, could you be persuaded to reopen the thread for a while? There was some good quality reaming of Pun going on that was quite amusing. Every once in a while, the SDMB hivemind really gets it going and this was one of those times. I hate to see it cut short.

If it wasn’t a trolling thread, I would. But as fun as it is to bat the idiots around, we really don’t want to reward trolls with attention and drama.
We don’t even get good trolls anymore. It’s truly sad.
Hey, the Pit threads you’ve started where you’re the one who ends up being reamed have usually been more fun. Maybe this one will play out this way too.

I didn’t understand CarnalK’s list of putative “cites” for the notion that the SDMB is not the smartest board on the 'net.
