She has a great voice
“Spaceship” from Kesha’s brand-spanking-new album Rainbow. Since Friday, I’ve had nothing but Rainbow earworms. It’s been awesome!
Ayzoh, by Aster Aweke
For some reason this has been on repeat in my head (and not the country one - I didn’t even realize there was a country one until I went looking for it)…
She said I’ve found somebody new, to take your place.
I said don’t feel so all alone, I’ve found someone of my own
I got up from the table and reached down and wiped the tears from her face
I put out my cigarette, turned and walked away
It seem strikes me as so very seventies…
Ghost “He Is”. Thanks for reminding me I have an earworm…
If you would have told me two weeks ago that a jazzed up vintage style cover of a mediocre 90’s pop song would completely blow my mind, I would have demanded that you shared those drugs with me, because you obviously had the good stuff.
Then I heard Postmodern Jukebox’s cover of Creep by Radiohead featuring Haley Reinhart on Youtube. It not only completely blew my mind, but it also has been stuck in my head for the last week.
Nikita lol :smack::smack::smack:
Tum balalaika (Yiddish folk song) sung by Oleg Pogudin.
Been singing it for ever this summer since I discovered it.
Tumbala, tumbala, tumbalalaika,
tumbala, tumbala, tumbalalaika,
shpil balalaika, tumbalalaika,
shpil balalaika, tumbalalaika.
and these two Georgian (as in the country) tunes:
Anchiskhati - Gazapkhuli (Georgian polyphonic song)
Suliko - old Georgian folk song
it is difficult to pronounce the lyrics so I just repeat the tunes over & over with vaguely Slavic elocution.
I live alone so no one is in any danger of infection from my own peculiar ear-worm strains.
*It’s Raining Again *by Supertramp.
Now it’s HAIM - If I Could Change Your Mind
*You can climb a mountain
You can swim the sea
You can jump into the fire
But you’ll never be free *

“Good Morning, Starshine,” by Oliver
We are the Crystal Gems
We’ll always save the day!
And if you think we can’t
We’ll always find a way!
That’s why the people of this world believe in
Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl and Steven!
The Alessan household has been binging Steven Universe this summer.
I just finished binge-watching Breaking Bad, so of course my earworm is Baby Blue.
B.B. King’s “Into the Night.” I keep playing it over and over: B.B. King - Into The Night - YouTube
After weeks of have the whole of Atom Heart Mother running through my head (23 minutes of Rapateeka, dodo cha)
I’ve now narrowed it down to a shorter, more manageable song by Pink Floyd; Comfortably Numb. I don’t know if I prefer the version with David Bowie, Roger Waters or Doctor Strange.
White Man’s World - Jason Isbell
An ancient goodie from the internets… They’re taking the Hobbits to Isengard.
