There’s a great, big, beautiful tomorrow
Shining at the end of every day
There’s a great, big, beautiful tomorrow
And tomorrow’s just a dream away…
Absolutely out of nowhere, Song Sung Blue by Neil Diamond. God, I hate that song.
But good news! I just posted The Ballad Of Mott The Hoople in the band namechecks thread, and that song has completely cleared out SSB. So I’m stuck with TBOMTH - but I’m absolutely fine with that.

Wow, an earworm that might just make me a better person…
Maybe I’ll sing it in my head the rest of the day (but there’s no logic as to what becomes an earworm and what doesn’t).
Three recent earworms of mine:
“Magic” by Olivia Newton-John
“Mermaids” by Hans Zimmer
“You’re the First, the Last, My Everything” by Barry White
I woke up this morning with a snippet of a song stuck in there. It took me an hour to figure out what it was. Cantaloop. There are worse things to have stuck in your head.
My head is full of space junk
And it’s bringing me to you
I woke up to Victoria’s Secret playing on my clock radio a week ago and it’s been in my head, nonstop, ever since
@WOOKINPANUBv.2 that’sa good one. Never heard it before.
I’ve got a country music earthworm ringing in my ears the last few days: I Like It, I Love It, but Tim McGraw.
With visions of line dancers moving in my head.
I overhead my husband singing this to my son and now it’s stuck there forever. Sung to the tune of Freire Jacque
Pterodactyl, Pterodactyl
CAW! CAW!
I’ve loved Ava Max’s music since “Sweet But Psycho” hit the radio, but she has topped herself in catchiness with Million Dollar Baby. Holy cow.
I stumbled upon a clip of The War On Drugs performing “Under The Pressure” on Austin City Limits and now I can’t stop humming the bass saxophone part and air drumming the climax.
After hearing about Burt Bacharach’s death I have a number of his going through my head including
I Say a Little Prayer (Aretha’s version, linked below, sounds warmer to me than Dionne Warwick’s) Aretha Franklin - I Say a Little Prayer (Official Audio) - YouTube
Do You Know the Way to San Jose Dionne Warwick - Do You Know the Way to San Jose - YouTube
What Do You Get When You Fall in Love I'll never fall in love again - Dionne Warwick - YouTube
And one that I didn’t know was his, Baby It’s You Baby It's You (Live At The BBC For "Pop Go The Beatles" / 11th June, 1963) - YouTube
