Quick, what's your current earworm?

“Here It Goes Again” by OK GO.

I blame the SDMB. And YouTube.

“She can drive as fast as me, but she stops at all the lights…”

From Fred Eaglesmith’s, “Wilder than her”. Whenever I hear this song, (Hubs is a big fan), that line sticks in my head for days after.

“She’s a summer storm, I’m a hurricane, one just blows through town, the other blows the town away. I’m wilder than her.”

Love that album.

For me, now, it’s Billy Joel’s “The Longest Time”. As often happens, it came from nowhere.

mmm

Thanks to You People, I got up this morning with the theme from M*A*S*H going thru my head. Complete with lyrics, of course.

Out of nowhere, I’ve got The Royal Canadian Kilted Yaksmen anthem from Ren & Stimpy running thru my head. First ran in 1993.

Not even my favorite R&S song. That’s Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy!

Over my lifetime I have collected movie posters, and today I was checking recent auction prices and updating my data.

So for the last hour or so I’ve had “We Don’t Need Another Hero” by Tina Turner playing on my mental jukebox, from 1985’s “Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome.”

I never could understand why that was snubbed by the Academy Awards for “Best Song from a Motion Picture.” It’s a great theme song and didn’t even get nominated.

The poster is a work of art by the late Richard Amsel, who drew a lot of wonderful movie posters in his brief 37 years on this earth.

Thought of “One Million Billionth of a Millisecond on a Sunday Morning” by The Flaming Lips last Wednesday, and it’s been in my head ever since. Fortunately, I like it, and it has a bit of variety. Best song Meddle era Pink Floyd never did.

Love love love this - Ike Turner and the Kings of Rhythm, “Baby’s Got It”:

due to brian wilson’s death, god only knows.

Same here. God Only Knows

Same here, too.

A beautiful 2015 BBC Music cover of it, with a Brian W. cameo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XqLTe8h0-jo

A beautiful tribute. And here’s the official music video ➜ https://youtu.be/NADx3-qRxek

Sadly, Freebird. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0LwcvjNJTuM

Does anyone else tend to hear the chorus over and over, without hearing the verses?

Olivia Newton John: “Lets Get Physical”

Tripler
I have no idea why…

Something triggered “Back in the High Life Again” by Steve Winwood…and there it is.

I’ve been working on a TV theme song playlist. My 'worm over the past few days has been the theme from “Growing Pains”.

Og only knows why. I’ve never watched the show, and I can’t stand the song.

Show me that smile again…
