Tied now–I scored 15 as well. Apparently being thoroughly geeky, but not being an asshole about it, is sufficient to remain classified as “clean-shaven”. (Some experimentation shows that the cutoff is at 18; 19 gets classified as “a bit scruffy”.)
8 for me, for being an anime fan, playing RPGs, for being an atheist and a fan of Neil deGrasse Tyson, Carl Sagan and Bill Nye, and for correcting someone’s grammar on the internet. I’m Batman! Where did I park the Batmobile?
They have similar shaped crowns (fore-and-aft crease, pinched at the front), but the differences are that a fedora is a wide-brimmed felt hat, while a trilby has a narrower brim, more sharply curved up at the back and down at the front, and is often made from other materials.
Sounds about right. Haven’t shaved in a couple of days, so I’m definitely a bit scruffy. (Yay for workplaces that don’t care if I have a beard or not!) I’m definitely a bit geeky, and it’s spot on about not taking myself or my beliefs seriously.
13, clean - although the “M’lady” and “good sir” stuff are from the SCA, not some misplaced chivalry…although that probably rates some points by itself, so it’s a fair cop.
You checked off 14 out of 72 on this list! You are: Clean Shaven!
Apart from the fact that I’m not clean shaven, it seems about right. I’m not obsessively geeky about the things listed, or really anything specific anymore, I’m only mildly nerdy these days, and about fairly generic things. In fact it’s interesting to me how many extremely popular things my friends are into that I’m not, despite we all being largely similarly nerdy. We may all like movies, but it’s different movies. We may all like genre TV, but it’s different shows. We may all like video games, but etc etc…
You are: A Bit Scruffy! You’re a just little geeky, but that’s okay with you. You know how to have a good time without taking yourself or your beliefs too seriously. You’re all about getting out there and having a good time!
But I have a good friend who would probably be somewhere around 40-45, I’d guess.
I also know another guy from college (brother of my brother-in-law) who would probably land in the 50s or 60s. Pretty much everything except for the MLP stuff, and the atheistic stuff applies to him. Literal neckbeard, loves anime, is pedantic as shit, etc…
I’m at 15 out of 72. I’d be at 16, but they didn’t actually make any figures of my husbando (That was kind of hard to type here on the dope, but it’s true). Still though, I don’t have a husbando in the strictest sense of the term. Someone who throws parties for a character’s birthday and strictly collects only their merchandise is in a different league from me.
16/72
Understood the questions well enough, but my lurker nature has fortunately prevented me from doing most of the “on the internet/4chan” things until I comprehended the futility of doing so. Finally shaving off the neckbeard for good a few years back helped as well.
