My best friend’s band - The Rocket Band - is playing at the Berkeley Cafe on Sat 7/29. They’re a great band (2nd place in the Triangle Blues Society contest a couple of years ago, and the winners said “y’all shoulda won”), he’s a kick-ass gee-tar player, but they need to be heard, need some support. They play original tunes as well as covering the likes of Stevie Ray, B.B., Jimmy Thackery, Robert Cray. If you’re not doing anything (or even if you are), come on out for a fun time, some great music, and lend some support to one of the finest people I’ve ever met. He’s a great friend, and I’d like nothing more than to see a great crowd.
You may even get lucky and see one of the funniest sights you’ll ever see - me dancing.

Aenea -
I post so infrequently, I would have felt like I was crashing (You’re who?). I did turn Sarah/Smooth Operator into a Doper (work with her), and she showed up, so by proxy… (And I’m the one who emailed you about Raleigh area, um, plumbers)
Bring lots o’ folks. I’m going to rent a van and gather all those people you see at the 85 and 40 ramps.
Actually, the “Shaky” was used by folks as a general description of my overall character, not any physical characteristics. I like it better than Shithead.
I’ll be easy to spot (outside of it being a small room): I’ll likely have on my fav new hat - a bowler…or is it a derby? One of those Charlie Chaplin/Clockwork Orange lids.
