Can you move the clam?
Nice stand.
Nice catfish.
{{{Taters and dad}}} prayers and good thoughts headed out.
Glad you’re feelin’ better MOOOOOM. Probably best you didn’t read the helpful hint on tasty puke yesterday.
I’m all deheathenated and have had N.O.L. This afternoon is all about doin’ nuttin’ cause I deserve an afternoon of nuttin’.
I ushed today and committed a big ushin’ fox paw. Part of ush duties is to count the number of folks who show up and place the slip of paper with the count in the wafer bowl which along with the wine is taken to the Altar at the offeratory. From thence, the Deacon gets the count so she knows how many little wafers to count out as she prepares for Communion. I had the slip of paper but got waylaid helpin’ a latecomer find a seat and forgot  to put the little slip of paper in the wafer bowl. I realized this when I saw poor Joy (the Deacon) open the top on the wafer bowl only to discover no little slip of paper. :o I am a bad, bad usher!
This has given me a more that it probably should have case of the giggles.
Now I feel a nappy poo comin’ on.
Laterz!

I have spent the last nearly 2 hours cleaning in the garage.* Tomorrow’s trash day and I’ve got 4 trash cans and an old shelving unit on the curb. I had to enlist my grandparents for one particular task. When I went to look for a spare trash can I saw one that was about halfway full of water and had something floating in it. The something looked like a chicken breast but was, in fact, a dead squirrel. My grandparents were the ones to find this out because I was majorly squicked out and couldn’t dump it out.
Now I’m trying to decide if a nap is in order before I get back to working on my paper. I did read a couple of research articles this morning and I’ve got about 8 more to go I think.
*This does not mean that the garage is clean nor does it mean that anyone looking at the garage would notice a substantial difference. :dubious:
Actually, I wish I had. Instead, I resorted to chewing gum - the mint helped cover the taste of nasty. My gut is still feeling funky, but I think a large part of it is aching puke muscles. No more problems with food and drink, so yay for that at least.
We took a ride into Leonardtown so **FCD **could see where the courthouse is and where he’ll be parking when he reports for jury duty. Then we went to Applebee’s for lunch. I don’t really like the place, but my sweetie wanted a bourbon street steak, so I just got a salad. Then we ran into WalMart for some kitteh supplies - litter, food, and treats. Now we’re home, **FCD **is rooting for the Redskins to lose, and I’m giving the laundry another 90 minutes before I take it down. Good times…
I need to inventory all the hats and scarves I’ve made, then decide if I’m going to do more hats or take a break and make some afghans. Decisions, decisions…
MOOOOOOM I’m with ya on Applebee’s. I don’t just loathe it per se but it would never be a place I’d suggest or jones for.
So I’ve had a nappy poo, taken out some trash and talked to OYKW who is at his place doin’ laundry. I’m all worn out.
Afgans, just because I want to see you knit a dog.:D;)
No second date unfortunately.
Oh, doggio, I’m sorry. She is now officially on my list of clueless people.
Awww sorry doggio. However, you got wimmens chasin’ ya all over the MMP.
Well, not everybody wants a guy who cooks, cleans, listens, and likes rugrats.:dubious:
And they’re beautiful, too.
Well, I’m going to assume the knit position for the rest of the evening. We got a volunteer for tomorrow? Perhaps a slacker Mumper who hasn’t started one ever???
Nighty-night, all!
In closing, let me say
hack koff heh-hem koff koff heh-hem heh-hem and koff
and that’s out of nowhere. Wish I’d kept tomorrow as a vaca day.
Well ick Rosie! Feel better soon.
I’m goin’ to lie upon the bed and watch me some teevee until sleepy time comes.
Like MOOOOOOM said, perhaps someone who has never [del]been drafted[/del] had the opportunity to do so, will start us off tomorrow.
Nitey Nite Y’all!

I almost want to but have had some adult coctails and do not know how to linky the last thread and I am such a seldom poster so I will work my way up at another time if I may.
obligatory drunken ost.
Oh come on, you’re just doing that to get doggio’s attention. ;)
This day has been a roller coaster ride. It was two months ago today that he passed away. It’s amazing how much life can change in such a short time.
{{{taters family}}}
Today has involved working out, changing furnace filters and grocery shopping. Funfilled excitmentright there!
Supper was ribs and green beans and broccoli. Yum. Now sitting watching movies and scratching LibbyCat’s ears as she has finally decided to come out of whatever closet/hole/bed she has been in all day and grace us with her presence.
Wine is also currently going down a treat!
From your posting anyway, you seem to be doing well.
I am very glad.

Honestly, it feels like I’ve learned quite a bit and that some huge pieces of my life have started to come together after almost 10 years of chaos and strife. This, of course, is wonderful.
Knowing that he’s not here to share it with is desperately, horribly sad.
Such is my bipolar life.
