Well, my amateurish opinion would be that he should not be looking through old photos of his mother but it is close to the anniversary of her passing so I think we should give him a break on that. My Mother has more than a few similarities with some of the characteristics that I’ve seen Sampiro has ascribed to his. It’s tough when you know someone loves you but they still generally bug the living shit out of you. My guess is that when they die that blows up in weird ways.

I wasn’t trying to be hurtful, take it anyway you like. I’ve just developed an association between Sampiro and his mother, so it feels like he’s centering the topic around her Mom than he really is.
Maybe the problem is because I like his writing so much. I never miss a thread. So the first time I read the suicide note/shopping list story I thought it was brilliant and hilarious.
Then I read it again, and again, and etc…
I guess it comes down to the “yuo don’t want to read it, don’t click on it” rule.

I guess the difference between us is that I occasionally have a thought that I don’t post to the board. O.K., so you figured out that someone has some kind of emotional issue. Do you really have to tell us all about it? Couldn’t you just let that go? If you want to spar with the guy, fine - sparring is fun. I just don’t understand this need to get personal, and I mean IRL-type personal, about members. I understand that maybe someone writes something that hurts you, and you want to hurt them back, but isn’t there anywhere we can draw a line?

Did BBS have to post that? Well, this is the Pit. Had he posted that on Sampiro’s thread, that would have been really pissy. But here, in a thread about Sampiro being a hafwit about posting personal info on the net, I think it is fair game.
And speaking of trainwrecks and people scolding others for giving personal info.
