On men I like a beard, men without them just don’t seem as…manly to me. But as far as pubes go? Men need to keep it trimmed. I should not have to be pulling hair out of my teeth. I prefer my women (and myself) to be shaved. Just a personal preference.
Wow, that’s completely ridiculous.
I referenced a study that she asked for me to cite.
I cited it as requested, and yes I thought it was very very easy to find so I did point that out.
After that you said you disagreed.
I did not argue for more women preferring clean shavenness.
So what do women prefer? I don’t care, because a real percentage like a clean shaven man even if that might not be in the majority, it isn’t rare.
I clearly had evidence to say what I said in the first place which is that more women like clean shaved according to a study. And more than what you have.
So unless you argue that the study didn’t say that, or can point out an obvious flaw in the study, then how is my statement incorrect or rash?
Even if (unknow-ably to either of us) it might be incorrect, the study still says what I said.
Well, it’s no fun going face down in a thicket of coarse pubic hair. YMMV.
I can assure you that yes, my mileage does vary. I have the 100% opposite opinion and I would never call a woman rude because of her pubic hair grooming choice.
I’m still not sure why you have this 40-45 year old age cutoff for this “rudeness.”
I am wondering why I am bothering too.
Ok, so did I say any of that? No.
Do caucasian women sometimes have black hair?
Do caucasian women sometimes have brown to dark blonde hair?
Then it applies to them too, it isn’t a racial issue, now I wonder if it is actually the vulva it’s self that offends some people to reply in such a silly manner.
Anyway dark pubic hair is worse against lilly white skin, the contrast makes it look worse IMO.
You didn’t? Then what is this?
and
I already pointed it out
Yeah, I wish I could pole…oh, never mind.
No you didn’t.
Saying it was just 200 is not a flaw since 200 is clearly enough to get a fair idea.
It would be quite reasonable to ask 10 people and get a fair idea about something, the odds that most of those 10 people are all part of a 1 to 10% of the population is low.
200 is ok, and not an automatic flaw as you claim.
I tried a sample size calculator: Sample Size Calculator by Raosoft, Inc.
6% margin of error
90% confidence
3.5 billion females
188 participants needed.
It certainly counts for more than your assumption.
A nice, glorious bush is a lovely thing, regardless of color or (up to a point) texture and grooming.
I’m having so many WTF moments reading the OP’s original post/response and some of the comments that I’m not even sure where to start!
No it doesn’t.
Your study ignores all but 2 countries in the entire world. It makes no accommodation for cultural or even population variances.
And your size calculator is bullshit - no matter what population size is entered (for a 5% error and 95% confidence) it never returns a number larger than 385.
I will respond to each paragraph:
If you are getting pubes in your mouth often, you may be licking in all the wrong places…just sayin’…
Vaginas are not masculine looking. Ever. Regardless of hair, no hair, color, etc. IMO. And I can safely say in my boyfriend’s opinion too.
Oh yes, ever since I started shaving - my crab problems have been reduced greatly! :smack:
WTF right back at you.
The vagina is internal.
There are the mons pubis and Labia Majora and often clitoral hood that is external.
Sometimes some Labia minora pop out.
And the vagina and the rest requires the lips be held open.
Now I did not that that is made all this good flesh stuff look masculine.
I said it hides this so that you would not know what if anything is under there in most cases if not trimmed.
And that leaves what you can see, hair.
Now all pubes are different, but personally I find darker pubes especially on lighter skin tones to look at not so attractive most of the time.
Now why do I think pubes are unattractive, honestly I think I have covered it.
And not everyone will agree, obviously.
But the idea can’t seem that odd since many women have removed all other body hair for a long time.
And yes, the blacker the thicker the rest of this body hair is the less feminine and more masculine a woman will look.
Now there will still be some pubic hair (and body hair) that as far as pubic hair goes is more or less coarse (masculine).
Oh, the lessening of crabs can be found out about here: http://io9.com/5976695/pubic-grooming-is-making-crab-lice-an-endangered-species
Just a side advantage.
As for hairs in mouths, there are people in this thread, and probably every thread on the internet who have mentioned this.
This reminds me of a funny Curb your enthusiasm episode, that I realise would be far more fun than receiving some of these ridiculous replies.
My enthusiasm for this thread is being curbed though.
Yep, it is. I have one. I think you know what I meant, though.
OK, carry on…
Basically, it comes down to this:
Nice romantic evening, hot and heavy. Not going to write an erotic novel here, but the gist of it is, the lady is enjoying the oral delights I am serving up. All is well, until a stray little tiny curl of hair is inhaled (coming up for air, you know?) sticks to the back of my throat and will not dislodge.
After about an hour of hacking and coughing, I assure you, we had long since moved on from that romantic evening.
It’s quite simple: If you like fingers and/or penis, do what you like.
If you like fingers, penis, and tongue, that is to say, if you like riding the wild tongue stallion, you need to spend a little time clearing the brush around the ranch.
This is not an act which is not reciprocated. I simply don’t expect anyone scoring on my playing field unless the lawn is well-maintained. To ask otherwise, kinda selfish.
By the way, if you care to know,OP – my personal preference would be for humans not to have hair anywhere below the nose.
Likewise.
If it were not *infinitely *more complicated than shaving my face and it didn’t essentially grow back immediately…
I’m waiting for the star trek version of laser hair removal- fast, easy, about 10 minutes, gone forever.
Of course by then I’ll be an old man with bald, droopy balls.
Then won’t I feel silly.
Bah, I’ll probably be arrested for swinging them around at people I don’t like.
What about head hair below nose level?
I like body hair, on both men and women. Hair naturally occurs on both men and women, it’s not masculine or feminine, it’s just hair. I enjoy the textures, tastes and scents it provides. I prefer to keep myself lightly trimmed because I find it more comfortable and it would be down to my knees if I didn’t, which is not a good look on anybody. I don’t find a bald vulva halfway as attractive as a fuzzy one, but it wouldn’t make me kick anyone out of bed, nor would I seek to communicate my preferences unless I was asked. Even then, I’d step carefully.
I can google too! There’s plenty of cites out there to suggest problems with intimate hair removal: possible increased risk of STI, possible increased risk of viral infection, and a sweaty cooter. I don’t know if any of them are true or accurate. I don’t really care.
So. Figure out what suits you best, keep any furry bits washed or whisk them off if you want, don’t allow other people to tell you what you should or should not do with your bush, and continue to get down with your bad self. Also, can we just agree that the term Vagina has now evolved to include that of Vulva in informal discussion? It’s in common usage and I’m sure as hell not going to call it my yoni.
