Damn it! This is the third year in a row I’ve forgotten to pay my homage! I’ll open a nice bottle of merlot and drink an extra glass in your honor. Maybe a couple of extra glasses.

You really out to come around more often…we long time lurkers miss the old regulars.

I’m not a wine guy myself, but I approve of the thought behind it.

July 19th, I hate to inform you, is my day. I’ve owned if for, well 20 years. One retchedly hot day in July of 1985, I was born. Ergo, I have prior right.

Oh well, you can take. All but about three of them have been miserable. Although if you were responsible for the events of last year’s birthday, I will not be happy. It’s really an amusing story, now that we’ve all lived through it. But I digress.

Although you may have had previous ownership, it was presented to me as a gift in good faith. Since possession is nine tenths of the law, I bid you good day, sir.

For what it’s worth, yesterday was a lovely break from the heat wave that we were having. Temps were down into the high 70s and the humidity dropped as well.
