I’m using the latest version of Tapatalk and the Report this Post option seems to be missing. I’m on an Android device. How can I report a post without the menu choice?
Send an email to a moderator?
In earlier versions of TapaTalk there was a menu option labeled “Report This Post”.
If you had the thread open, all you had to do was click that option on the menu and it would report the post and add a reply that stated “Reported”.
I want it back!
I just tried it on my tablet. If you tap on a post to hilight it and then tap on the menu on the upper right corner of the screen, there’s a report option, or at least there is on my version of Tapatalk (which should be up to date, I think).
Poking around on google, it looks like I’m not running the latest version of tapatalk.
We really don’t have much to do with tapatalk here. We display a one-time pop-up that lets you know it’s available if your device supports it, otherwise we have no connection with tapatalk. Your best bet would be to complain about it on one of the tapatalk forums.
Until they fix it (if they fix it), you can send us an e-mail or PM as a workaround.

Yeah. Some time in the last 3ish months Tapatalk for Android went through a real de-evolution where they removed a whole host of useful features. And seemed to introduce zero new ones.
I’m not sure what they’re up to, but they’re about to be evicted from my phone for some other similar product. As soon as I find out what it is.
I’ll be interested in what you’d recommend. There are about 7 forums where I participate. I’m one of those who’s phone is always handy so I like it all in one place.
If I touch a post to highlight it, a menu appears offering “quote; share; report; more”. I’m using an iPad. Maybe the problem is android-specific.
I think it is Android specific, at least at this point. My pull down menu offers no such option, though it used to have that option.
Maybe I should buy an iPad.
