Were there recent changes to the mobile version?

I’m using a Chrome browser on Android.

Two things:

  • There used to be an arrow in the bottom right which would scroll back to the top.

  • I don’t recall having any options like smilies, text formatting, insert link, etc. These appear now on the quick reply option, but not on the post new reply or new post option.

Did something change?

Thanks.

I’m not able to login through Tapatalk right now.

I haven’t been able to use tapatalk all day

Tapatalk is working for me now.

I can log in to tapatalk now, but can’t see any forums or threads

Just checked–no more Big Dumb Arrow, and the text editing buttons show up in portrait now (they used to only show up in landscape.)

Me neither. It’s completely blank.

Try deleting the app cache, and possibly the app data as well if just deleting the cache doesn’t work.

ETA: Note that deleting the app data will also delete all of your custom Tapatalk settings, logins, etc. so try just deleting the app cache first.

Well, son of a gun. They were there in landscape all along?

Just call me Dorothy.

Nope, didn’t work. :frowning:

For what it’s worth, the scroll-to-top arrow has disappeared for me, too, both on my desktop and in mobile. I know I’m in the minority, but I would prefer to have it back.

The scroll-up arrow which I did use sometimes is gone in FireFox as well. But on the good side so are the pop-under ads so all in all I’m calling it a win.

I know I’m often a bit slow on the uptake, but I just noticed this as well. Any further word on what happened to it? I liked it too.

I don’t think taking out the button was intentional. It still seems to try and load the site that it comes from. My guess is that the change to HTTPS killed it, since it always mentions something about the TLS handshake (which is the S part of HTTPS).

Any word on getting the scroll-to-top arrow back? I liked it too.
