The “refund” is in my pending payments, but those usually don’t show up in my account until, oh WEDNESDAY or so.
Idiot dog started barking and whining around 4 of the AM! :eek: We ignored her, and she eventually (40 minutes later) quieted down. Then at some point, she started again, and **FCD **got up to deal with her. Then he turned on the shower. So much for sleeping in. He’s gone to work, I’m caffeinating before attacking the laundry, thinking about running to WaWa for a breakfast sammich. But it’s cold out there!! :eek:
**Apes **- I know what you mean about hating to touch the IRA. On the other hand, it’s there, and you need it. I still remember the day I was down to $20 in checking 2 days before payday, and we needed groceries (new baby and all that) - all that saved us was being able to kite a check. It was a few more years before we were able to build up a small reserve in savings. Anyway, glad you’ve been able to get a little relief.

Well, doggio, I guess the truth comes out - you don’t love me enough to rearrange your entire life in order to visit me. Fine. Be that way. 
Oh, and we only have 7 or 8 coasters, so late arrivals will go thirsty!
Plans for the day: laundry, empty the dishwasher, start clearing the kitchen counters, vacuum, make 'nanner bread, solve world financial crisis, instigate world peace. We’ll see how far down the list I can get.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN 'Tis 34 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 56 for the day. Again, Winter in south Jawja. The inside temp at da cave was 58 when I got up so I gasp turned on the heat. I suppose it’s a good thing to knock the chill off the place.
Spaz hope the bank problem gets worked out so you can go see your dad.

Haid is still stuffded up but feelin’ somewhat better. I have a very nice cheese ball all made up for the Epiphany Party tonight so hopefully I’ll feel up to goin’. Even if’n I don’t feel up to it, OYKW could still go if’n he wants and take the cheese ball. However, he’s kinda strange about goin’ to stuff like that by himself. It ain’t like the cheese ball won’t get eaten if we don’t go, cause, hey, cheese ball!
Now I need more caffiene and should consider sustenance for rumbly tummy.

First load is in the washer, cat box is clean, dog is eating her alligator, **FCD **called to get my computer password because I had his model locked on my machine, and I ate a leftover corn muffin for breakfast. Such is morning in FairyChatLand! 
I need to clean the pellet stove - the pan is full of ash. It burned out overnight, so there shouldn’t be any embers still. But I will dump it all into a metal bucket. And once it’s all clean, I’ll fill it up and start it burning again. Good times!

I’m running laundry myself, got to catch up on some reading, and once the nearby grocery opens, I need to find out if they carry ant baits. Ants in January? Really?
Banana bread sounds great.
I’m trying to figure out a way to combine chicken breast with some nacho cheese Dorito crumbs I have around.
We do banana boats on the grill or fire.
Split banana, still in skin, lengthwise but NOT all the way through the banana.
Pry open and fill with brown sugar, chic chips and mini marshmallows.
Wrap in two layers of foil.
Place on low grill or in hot embers of a fire for about 10-15 min.
Gently peel foil and eat with a spoon from skin.
Yum!

Up early, got a load of laundry in.
They got my paycheck straightened out so my account is on order.
I wish I was near all y’all that need a little help.
I have some chocolate I can share, Snickers, 100,000s, and Milky Ways. I have to go back to the grocery store today so I can take requests. Sah-kid wasn’t feeling well yesterday so we only made it to one store.
Time to go put the second load in the washer and then I should go to irk. I need money if I am going to get the truck paid off and move out this year.

Lay skin side down on grates
drizzle with choc syrup/sauce
cook for a few mins (until skin start to blacken)
remove
Eat!
Well, I have an empty laundry hamper and empty laundry machines, with stuff even put away. Ant baits have been procured and deployed, I’m still trying to figure out the chicken/Dorito issue, and it would be nice to know when OnTrac delivers in my part of town so I know when I can expect some nice delivery person to show up with DH’s package (Dark Knight trilogy on BluRay).
nettie bake the chikin. Eat the Doritos while waitin’ for the chikin to get done. Appetizer plus main course. Voila!
Now I have a strange cravin’ for grilled bananas and burgers.
