Reminds me of the time I played Pictionary with 2 friends on my favourite New Year’s Eve ever, some time ago. We began the game in 2004 and ended it in 2005. Good times.

I wonder where 2gig. When my father was alive he made me work on the cars with him, now I look under the hood and it’s a sea of confusion. Although I think fuses can be under the dash, or in the glove box. My first truck had them right under the hood, clearly labeled.
Swampy dead lobster sounds about right, it’s not my favorite place but he likes it. I’d choose Corner Stable but it’s way out of the way.
I remember one New Years when my friend got the bright idea we each should have one shot of tequila each minute during the 5 minute countdown. They had some wild parties.
Plans for next year? Same as usual - have fun, laugh as much as possible and survive for another two or three just to piss a couple people off.

My favorite New Years of all times was 1976/77 -------- I don’t remember a single thing from Christmas to about January 10th but the tales my friends tell are almost legendary. It was also the first time I ever told anyone “my liver is evil and must be punished”. At least I’m told I did; can’t prove it by me. Never did it before and never will again – but its nice to have one of those events in your past.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas - I have been a bad MMPer and didn’t check in when I was home for Christmas. We had a great time and I didn’t want to come back at all. But come back we did last night and I have done a little work today but I need to go find some lunch then get to the grocery store as we have literally nothing in.
2012 has had its ups and downs but 2013 is shaping up to be a good one so instead of resolutions we are doing ‘Goals’ - Move to TX. Find a job there that I like with or without my current company. Work on getting pregnant. Help my sister get her wedding arranged the way she wants it. All good stuff.
Now back to the mundane reality of emptying the dryer and folding laundry.

StickyBuns when you said you had to price stuff at a specialty store I immediately knew she was askin’ for free range gerbil and virgin quail eggs. I mean what else could it possibly be! They are, after all, the highest quality gerbil and quail eggs one can buy. Plus the two do go so well together.
Ruble IMO Dead Lobster is the upscale version of MickeyD’s but Arthur Treacher’s Deep Fried Creatures works as well. Do those still exist? Haven’t seen on in years.
Well you posted in the right place if you want to pull a fuse (I’d look in the driver’s side footwell area), that’s the mundane way of doing things. I think if you’re gonna do it, do it right - Thelma & Louise like: Steal a car & for gas money, rob a bank!

mr ems is really really enjoying the practicing part
He is on his way back from TX (he flew back there last night as he had been visiting his folks down there when he flew out to come to the UK) and should be home in less that 2 hours. Weather is cold and rainy but so far no snow so he should have no problems coming in.
Still have not been to the grocery store.

Rosie, my dad has to work all day today, too, actually, my mom as well.
I’ve finished my pricing and sent it off for approval. I’ve even spent some time doing a fairly decent job cleaning and organizing my bedroom. Now I’m just basically sitting here waiting for 5:00 so I can head downtown.
Of course, I’m sleepy now and would love a nap, but there’s no time for that! Oh well, guess I can find something exciting to do like unloading the dishwasher. 
I meant to say before, gt, those are great photos.
I have had a nap but have still not been to the store.
If I put shoes on it might help with motivation.
We’re home - it was sleeting a bit as we drove - ick! **FCD **was going to nap, but he couldn’t turn his brain off, so he’s going to watch TV and frolic with the puppeh. I’ve got nothing to do till suppertime. OK, I could empty the dishwasher, but I can do that while cooking, so better to multi-task, right?
Looks like we’ll be going into work tomorrow. It should be nice and quiet, so we should be able to get a lot done. We’re not doing a full day - when we wake up, we’ll go in, and when we’ve had enough, we’ll come home. Sounds like a plan to me!
