People have mentioned wanting the Page O Flames, etc back, and so I’m reviving the TMHP (well, parts of it)… I need help, though, as I don’t have time nor do I read enough of the SDMB these days to effectively find the “good stuff”.
I had helpers submitting stuff in the past but sadly don’t remember who they were.
Basically what you’d be doing is finding the really good posts/lines from the board, then using a web-interface to publish “articles” to the site, placing them in one of four relevant categories (Classic Posts, Flames, Fools, Funnies) and assigning applicable keywords from a list. Pretty simple stuff. The hard part is finding the good posts. You could ask people to send you links when they found them, or you could just use what you ran across on your own. Also remember the idea isn’t to archive every single funny thing that’s ever been posted–there’s too much.
