Right Wing Idiocy - Poll: Majority of Republicans don't think Obama legitimately won 2008 election.

It’s a joke, see:

Lafayette Co. GOP Celebrates New Billboard: It May Be Time For “WAR”

Are you referring to Negroes?

Picking out that one section of the prayer without acknowledging the rest of it, the O Lord Please Roast Him On A Spit part, is like saying, “my favorite part of The Godfather is when Michael tells Carlo that he would never make his sister a widow.”

Rush Limbaugh is a snappy dresser.

No, but there is a definite mainstream in modern American “movement conservatism.” You and other libertarian-leaning conservatives are outside of it – but, lie down with dogs, get up with fleas.

Me too . . . Not right away, of course. Cannibalism represents a level of intimacy that should be saved for the third mandate.

The difference is that the latter are real.

Which he got for leaving quietly when he was canned.

Thanks. Well, I can’t exactly say that poll uses “tricky” language. This is doing nothing to reassure my feeling that there are a lot of idiots out there.

You forget about 800 threads started by BRICKER who has a Pavlovian reaction to ACORN. It is amazing what he has been able to convince himself of. With enough bias, anything is possible.

Well, that’s a kind of freedom.

We’re not discussing whether the right thinks ACORN did voter fraud (or whether they actually did). We’re discussing whether the right thinks ACORN stole the presidential election for Barack Obama. Get this through your skull. Use a hammer or pickaxe if necessary. Stole the presidential election. Stole the presidential election.

It’s possible to engage in voter fraud without stealing the presidential election. Either by engaging in voter fraud in the presidential election but not on a scale that is enough to swing the election, or by engaging in voter fraud to the point of tipping elections but in other elections that were closer (such as Hoffman’s).

Actually on a bit of further reflection ISTM that this poll is even more dubious than I first thought. Because if there were 52% of the Republicans thinking that ACORN stole the 2008 presidential election, this should be manifested somewhere besides some obscure poll by an obscure pollster. There should be screaming from the rooftops about it, is RW talk radio and the like, and all the more so in sources like FR that are frequented by hardcore RWers and their LW counterparts. The fact that such avid outrage-seeking FR readers such as we have here are unable to come up with any evidence of this RW belief on that site would seem to be pretty strong evidence that it doesn’t exist.

It’s not “picking out that one section”. The bumper stickers specifically cite that one section.

How is that not picking it out? The prayer as a whole is vicious little piece. It’s just the first few lines that aren’t murderous.

Can I now cite The Godfather as an uplifting movie where families stay together based on the one line?

I guess technically it is picking it out, but not in the way you suggest. But there’s nothing wrong with picking out one line out of a larger paragraph that you happen to have a cute play on words about. There is no implication that you really meant the rest of the stuff if you specifically cited that one line.

The right does think ACORN stole the presidential election. Stole the presidential election. You’re not very quick on the draw are you?

True. But the remaining soft-heads in the Republican party aren’t the sort to think that carefully about issues. The smart people left the party.

There is plenty of outrage. You’re just ignoring it.

You are a lying douchebag. Pretending that you’re too stupid to see obvious things isn’t a great way to win debates. It’s a great way to get people to assume that you’re too stupid to see obvious things.

Yeah, we already know that you think so. That much you managed to get across at the outset. But your thoughts are not worth a whole lot. You are a nitwit. No, what actually matters is whether you have any actual evidence for this belief (other than this poll, which is what we’re discussing). And here’s where you keep presenting evidence about other matters as if it were evidence of the RW claiming that Obama stole the election.

You seem to think you can demonstrate A by presenting evidence of B, if you accompany it with some personal insults. Maybe that works in your circles, I don’t know.

Exactly. No doubt your continual failure to find any of this outrage is just you being cute.

Google: ACORN Stole the Election

It’s not like this is Big-Foot. This is an easy to find phenomenon.

Obviously not, because you keep failing to find it.

Just looking at the first two pages of your links, they are either references to the very poll that we are discussing or links of other elections notably Hoffman’s.

I suppose the plethora of “A Majority of GOP voters think ACORN stole the 08 election for Obama” links are invisible on your monitor or something.

And I suppose when I wrote “references to the very poll that we are discussing” that was invisible on yours.
