Getting ready to visit the dentist to have a partly missing filling replaced. Since dentists scare the frik out of me I am partly medicated by doctors orders. OK - I’m doped up enough to think Plant is a pretty nice guy ------- but at least I’m mobile.

Howdy Y’all! After brekkie this mornin’, I cleanded the bathrooms and the kitchen and made a batch of soft chawklit chip cookies. OK, I cleanded the kitchen after makin’ the cookies, but still I’ve been productive. It looks like the rain may be settlin’ in for the day. I hope so. I have no where I need to go or be. Hamburger steak with onion gravy, smashed N.O.T., succotash and bizkits for dindin because that’s what I decided to make.

Not really, you put a colander atop a pot and the liquid drains down. The ones I mean, you need to tilt them. You’d put the stuff in the basin, then close the lid and turn it upside-down in a controlled way.

Road trip, yes! I leave today for Oregon. I’d snoopy dance, but I’s tarred. We went to pick up our U-haul trailer yesterday and found out it was not at the promised location but in another town 20 miles south. U-haul therefore owes me $50, accordin’ to their website. The trailer also turns out to be a mite small for what we need to take, so I’ll be leaving a few things in my folks garage until we come back a Thanksgiving or Christmas. Last night I was in a right tizzy over it, but today I made a list of what we had to take versus what can wait and I feel better. Now I’m just waiting for everyone else to get their butts outta bed. drums fingers
Tonight we stay in Redding, which is just south of Mount Shasta. It will be a 6-7 hour drive with a trailer (frickin’ speed limit, mumble, mumble). Tomorrow’s drive will be about the same to bee-yoo-tiful Albany, OR. Best known for being the city before the town with the paper plant on I-5.
Alright. Imma see what I can do by my lonesome. Been up since 4. Couldn’t sleep.

Three voice mails today!! Two were crap and were deleted when I figured out they were crap, the third was from the company’s 401k office - I need to call her back about rolling over the 401k from my last job.
Haven’t heard from my sweetie today, and that concerns me a bit. I worry about him being home alone. Two anna half more hours till I can leave.
The first load of laundry is in the washing machine, albeit on cold. When the guy from Lowe’s hooked it up, a leak was found in the hot water valve. Maintenence will be here this afternoon to repair that, then it’s washing sheets and towels to my heart’s content.
How’s that for an exciting life?
