I think DeSantis needs to get more aggressive with his campaign. Really make people sit up and take notice.
I’d suggest he start attacking some other companies for being too “woke”, and getting legislation together to make them be anti-gay or force them out of Florida.

They actually apologized after an employee refused to write a pro-trans slogan on a cake. They clearly deserve to be run out of the state.
Jabil
Market cap $30 Billion
They have an inclusion page that includes “transitioning with PRIDE”. Clearly they have no place in Florida
Lennar
Market Cap $27 billion
Lennar publishes a “social responsibility report”, which includes the phrase " Implementing an “Everyone’s Included” focus relative to inclusion and diversity where we are focused on attracting, retaining and growing diverse talent that takes us into the future."
Clearly DeSantis’ Florida is no place for "inclusion and diversity. They need to be run out of the state as well.
This is just a short list for DeSantis to follow. There are plenty more where they came from.
He needs to Make Florida Pure Again, and Safe For Straight White Men.

As for Florida, it’s off my list until it can be made safe again. I just hope that it doesn’t have to be put down by the military, put under martial law, have it’s laws over-turned, it’s officials arrested and imprisoned, and then forced to undergo a 10 year ‘reconstruction’ with all local and state government positions filled by appointees from Congress.
That would be sad.
Ah, well, between rising sea level and ramped-up hurricanes, Florida may find itself too busy just trying to survive to bother anyone else.
They may be 5 feet under water, but at least their children will be safe from the horror of two male penguins making a nest.

Right now would be a bad time for the state health department to have been crippled by science-denying conspiracy theorists, wouldn’t it?
On the plus side, the state’s residents know their medical options under the new science-denying paradigm are enhanced by Florida’s wide variety of native leeches.
(Plus a large number of segmented parasitic worms of the non human variety as well.)
