The US doesn’t target the very highest ranking generals because they are the ones who have authority over the nukes. Killing them would mean that Putin himself would demand control of the launch codes.
Unlike Putin, the generals are presumably still capable of rational thought.

Technically, “semitic” is not strictly a synonym for “jewish”. There are Semites in the region who are Muslims. Hence, one could argue that the Israeli government has exhibited anti-semitic behavior in its treatment of the arabic Palestinians. Yet, to apply that label in a general way is clearly incorrect, since they treat another semitic group favorably.
