We went to Rustic River for supper - fairly cheap and no dishes to wash, so yay for that. We’re now home in the chill mode - also yay!
Ice cream later. I’m thinking I may assume bathrobe mode now. You may imagine any sort of bathrobe you wish…

I’m thinking I’m going to ask for OT next week. We’ve got a department that’s short handed, and I could use the money to help save up for our trip in December.
Daughter is reading a Star Wars book, son is playing Far Cry, and hubby is in the kitchen making tacos. Life is very good. Went to a local shaved ice place and got a strawberry smoothie. OMG. I was in absolute heaven. It was sublime. The location had been closed for nine days because they had to remove some old gas tanks from under their parking lot. Part of that lot used to be a gas station. Anyway, to celebrate, they sent all their email customers a coupon for 50% off their entire order. So we had fun.
I won a gift card to Picadilly this week. $20. MIL loves the place, so we’re wanting to take her there. However, there’s one close to my BILs apartment in New Orleans, so we may hold on to it. You never know.
Annie I did not realize that any Picadilly’s still existed! Haven’t see or been in one in years! WOW! Blast from da past!
We have two here in the Jackson metro area. One is pretty good, and the other is really good: especially on Sundays after church.

Annie I’m jealous. Places like Picadilly, Morrison’s and Davis Brothers have all but disappeared in my part of the world. I mean, sure, not gourmet by any means but still they were good cafeterias. Now all we have are [del]hog troughs[/del] buffet places around here.
Annie, even if I did opt to work late; it would be for comp time. OT would literally pay me just under two dollars more an hour than I normally make. That’s because I’m capped at a certain amount of pay.
The BLTs (well BLTA(Avocado)s were yummy. My son ate three, my husband ate two, and I had one.
Well, he’s not in it.
Unload a truck in this heat, then working 10 more hours is not fun.
In case you ever get really curious, I use a black Klingon bath robe ------- but that probably comes as no real surprise.

I never think of Swampy as having a closet. I think of him more as using his clothes in a decorative manner throughout his cave.

Just so I can say I am not a total slug, in a little while OYKW and I are goin’ to take coolers over to the church house and get ice. See, we have an ice machine (Named Hoshi, that’s its nickname. Its given name is a bazillion letters long) that makes more ice than could ever be used, so why buy ice when I can get it there. Also, I told him we needed to drag out a couple of the biiiiiiiiiiig umbrellas cause it’s gonna be hawt and folks might like some shade. These biiiiiiiiiiig umbrellas come with biiiiiiiiiiig stands and are stored in the pool storage buildin’ until needed.
Then I shall be a bear of leisure. 
Time for more caffiene and to feed rumbly tummy.
