Thanks to The_Stranger. I got about the same info from a web search, with the addition that Woot was a character in the Oz books. I’m now “in the know”, but I’m sure the know will change sufficiently over the next two minutes that I’ll be out of it again.
Greg, what will you be doing in Viet Nam? For how long will you be there? Perhaps you could locate some local dopers there and have a SaigonFest?
I suppose it’s possible, but I haven’t run across any other members of the masses currently teeming in Viet Nam, and that’s something I would have noticed.
I’m going to be a software architect for IBM in Viet Nam. For a long time, I’ve wanted to try living in Viet Nam, and also to get into software architecture, so it’s a good opportunity for me. I’m bummed about missing the DopeFest though! Remember to drink a toast to your missing man over in Nam.

Saturday, June 14 - Balboa Park (Shayna, feel free to post your schedule for folks to meet up with you), dinner at 7:00 p.m. at Corvette Diner, and heaven knows where we’ll traipse off to afterwards.
Sunday, June 15 - “Sunday Gospel Brunch” at Lips at 11:00 a.m. ($15.50 per person), possible trip to Sea World or someplace else fun afterwards.
