Because when he comes back…well, you know.
Keep it up, man.

Or bacon!!! Thatd be nice and pungent. Maybe some freshly cooked-up bacon, and a cup of Butterscotch’s coffee. MMMMMMmmmmmmm.
Santo can bring the pie himself when he comes back.
Keep on trainin’ that brain, Santo!!!
Awesome! Keep it up, Santo!
bacon pie!
This thread is very uplifting. Santo, we hope you wake up fully very soon.
Thanks for all the updates, **SantoRuggersMom **and SantoRuggersDad!
Still thinking about you, Pat. Hope you’re continuing to get better and better.
Santo Rugger is steadily improving. His traech has been capped and he has been breathing room air only (as opposed to having oxygen) for a few days now. Soon he should be able to have the traech removed. He is responding to us when he darn well feels like it. He still has a way to go in this area before he can start the grueling process of rehab for three hours a day. The casts on his arms are scheduled to come off next week (what a relief!) Recovery from a brain injury takes time and we celebrate the small successes every day. This rugger is just too tough to stay down for long. Thanks for your continued prayers and positive vibes.
Wow…having been in a cast before, that really gives perspective on how long he’s been out. Ok Rugger, naptime is over – wakey wakey!!
And as always, thanks much for the updates!
Thank you for the updates. It is really great to hear that he’s getting better and better.
Steady, steady progress.
FANTASTIC news!!!
It really is fantastic news. Go Rugger, wake on up!
The updates are so wonderful and they spread across the internet fast and makes people smile, when they hear he is doing better.
Thanks for the continued updates, SantoRuggersMom. All the best to you, him, and your family.
I’m going to un-stick this thread, but I’ve encouraged the Rugger family to keep us up to date on his recovery and I am sure the good wishes from the Doper community will continue.
I’m continuing to think of our rugger, and offer prayers for his recovery. Thanks for taking the time to update us SRMom!
Does SantoRuggersMom know how to find the thread again if it’s unstickied, or how to start another? I’d hate her to stop posting updates because it’s too much bother.
Thanks again, SantoRuggersMom. I’m still praying for him, and you and yours.
I sent her a private message with the URL, and offered to show her and SantoRuggersDad how to subscribe to the thread if they want. I’ll make sure it gets worked out.
i’m glad to hear things are improving. it does take quite a bit to come back from a head injury, moving around without casts will help quite a bit.
Wakey, wakey, Santo!
Thanks for the update, SRMom.
Awesome, thanks!
Don’t you think he’s going to be pissed when he finds that his thread has been unstickied?
