He’s back home from the hospital and we are working to get therapy set up for him at home. He had his gall bladder removed and I think he’s happy about it. Who knew he was in such pain? Poor baby. He’s still showing us everyday how tough he really is.
Please tell him, that we all care and think about him 
Pat is back home after another stint in the hospital. He has a few slight digestive issues, but I think he’s back on track. I’m so glad to have him at home again; it’s been a tough summer. We continue to work hard with him everyday. Thanks to one of his Straight Dope friends he has a lovely, red Speak n’ Spell to work with!

Glad to hear he’s back home. I’m sure that both he and you feel better when he’s home. Keep up the hard work. I don’t know Pat personally but from others in this thread I understand he’s a fighter and wouldn’t be happy if you didn’t push his limits.
He’s lucky to have people like you around him who love him this much. Sending MomHugs your way. 
Santo is in Denver for a re-eval this week. His swallowing has really improved and tomorrow he is having a swallow study (deja vu!) We are very hopeful that it will lead to getting the OK to introduce pureed foods. He still has extremely hard physical work ahead of him. Thankfully he’s rugger-tough!
I know I’m sending all the slack and karma I have towards Denver right now anyway (family thing). I’ll make sure some of it heads over Santo’s way.
