Sarah Sanders leaving WH at end of the month.

It’ll be interesting to see if Sarah works on Trump’s reelection campaign. She originally was her dad’s campaign manager and moved to the Trump campaign after Mike dropped out

If Al Capone’s accountants kept accurate books, they’d be fired within hours or days, and he’d have gone through 700 accountants during his career as a mobster.

Therefore, members of the jury, I request that you find the defendant not guilty of conspiring with Mr. Capone to hide his illegal activity from authorities.

Sorry, but it’s still a good article. Full credit to Slate. Personally, I think politics much degraded by people like Luntz who teach the overuse of aggressive language and those who are masters of not answering reasonable questions.

And there is a snowball’s chance in hell of that happening.

What’s more, you would be a hero to 40% of Americans.

Is there any reason why she’s waiting until the end of the month? I doubt anyone has said: “Oh. please don’t leave suddenly. What ever wouuld we do for the next few weeks without you?”

Spitballin: End of June = 1/2 a year; my guess is govt. funded bennies of some kind.

So that was President Rump’s “Purge the Swamp” game-plan all along?
:dubious:
That would be a surprisingly passive method from such an aggressive personality.

–G!

My guess is somebody has to shred all the evidence.

I thought that it was the soonest that they could book “Red Hen Restaurant” for her good-bye party.

Could be they need time to find a suitable replacement. Then again, how long does it take to pour lukewarm oatmeal into a burlap sack?

It should be pretty easy to find someone who’s qualified to NOT hold press conferences/briefings.

Not long. But it takes time to build up that much mascara.

As has been pointed out by others, she didn’t even bother to do that every day. I’d much rather my tax dollars went towards someone selling food stamps to support a drug habit than Sanders’s unearned salary.

  1. The best Mooch impression, IMHO, has always been Stephen Colbert. (“Front-stabber!”)
  2. Over the weekend, someone on one of the Crooked Media podcasts pointed out that Scaramucci is the Trump-admin equivalent of George Stephanopolous, bouncing from PR flack to cable news pundit. (Of course many others have done the same, but GS is in the news lately.) Now I kind of wonder if I’ll see the Mooch anchoring a Sunday show ten years from now.

If he is the anchor, wouldn’t there be an oil slick?

This may be a strange thing to say, but…Sarah Sanders finally convinced me that women often can be as good or even better in their jobs then men. How often do we get the chance to see a man and a woman perform the same, highly visible, highly scrutinized job? Where we can actually judge their performance, and know that they work under the same difficult circumstances? hardly ever, right?

Usually, when we assess any jb performance, we don’t know how well the actual results were, and the guy will appear (overly) assured of how well he did, and the woman will be either (overly) modest, or won’t be and then we’ll find her… unpleasant. We unconscioulsy will conclude that the more assured person, the guy, did better.

This was the first time we could all let both performances speak for themselves. And Sanders was just clearly better then her predecessor in every, evil, way.

Being a woman even came in handy - it fitted with how she fulfilled the role.

I will never again think that a hiring a woman is the sympathetic, but less ambitious choice. In the Trump cabinet, the women pretty much all are more competent then their male peers.

When did you see her actually perform the job?

Um… I can’t figure out if this is legit or irony/sarcasm.

Where’s that *irony *tag?

Why bother? You can have a library of great documentation of what’s going on that will not change the mind of Trump’s core one bit.

Remember, he has been tweeting his obstruction of justice attempts and is getting away with it.

Sanders has admitted lying to the FBI, which is a crime. And nothing happened.

Shredding is for looosers.

It worked for Oliver North.
